before replacing try reflashing the module. I had this error and what fixed it for me was I found a German site for Journeys that had the same problem, basicly what you are doing is flashing the module like the dealer would. You do have to have some electronic, computer skills because you have to either get the connector or make one to connect the module to your computer. If your interested let me know, I am not the original person who camew up with this fix,hes the guy on the GErman forum. I do see people on youtube using his method and not giving credit. I am making this because I am trying to get let people know they can do this them selves and not pay some guy that stole the software.

Mine is a 2011 journey, lost Bluetooth after one year and had to pay over seven hundred just to use my phone hands free. Now it has started again everything works except the phone microphone. Do I have to pay another seven hundred a thousand even just to get the mic working? I have Bluetooth toys that cost five dollars that have been working fine for years. Is this just a greedy money grab by Dodge?
I got mine from a junkyard and it came off a dodge journey. But before replacing it, do a reset. If it still didn't work OR work for a few days and then stop working then replace it. You can also find it on eBay.
Henry Rodriguez the only way is to disconnect the battery from the terminal for about 45 minutes ( make sure the red wire don’t touch the battery ) and plug it back in that does a factory reset

No. There is a whole interface you need to install. Screen an DC all. I think it's like 1500 to 3000. You have to replace a whole audio, nav system ect. It's much cheaper to but the $500 aftermarket package
@@wav177 I already have the RB5 radio with navigation and the 8.4" screen. I believe that I may need other parts im just not sure what other parts besides the bluetooth module I need to complete the install?

Props for doing it all one handed.. will replacing this module fix unable to sync bluetooth issues? Will it need to be flashed by the dealership?
Well before doing anything see if you have the firmware updated. In my case I didn't had to flash it with dealership.

Me too. I did the same thing. Problem is after the car powers off and then back on >it won't work anymore.
I just took my 2013 charger to the dealer and they said that this is what's draining my battery, and a new one is going to cost 1088 dollars.
