    It takes a lot of guts to learn a new language and work in a new country with different social and work place norms. Only the mentally tough guys survive the battle, not easy at all.

    Hello and thank you for your video. It is very helpful and interesting. However, I have a question, which (probably) can be answered by you, if you don’t mind. Thus, after becoming a doctor in Germany (Facharzt), could I go to work to the UK? I finished medical university in a different country and my local internship isn’t liable in the UK (they advise to go for UKFP), but at this point, it isn’t that hard to become an “Assistentarzt” in Germany, however, I would need to go through exams (as anywhere else 😅). I heard that a lot of German doctors go to the UK (I don’t know how true is that though). I don’t know if what I say makes sense but the main question is- Can I work as a doctor in the UK after finishing a non-eu university and becoming a “Facharzt” in Germany?

    • @docdeemishra
      @docdeemishra  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, after a Facharzt, you can take the OET Exam and apply for Specialist Registration with the GMC in the UK. But you must have done an Internship, which is recognized by the UK Authorities. They ask for it, even when you are already a Facharzt from Germany.

    so which will be better? An 8 yrs in germny or 10 n hlf yrs in uk?

    If a Honorararzt(gp) works 12hours a day and he walks home with 1000euros(per hour 80-100euros), then his monthly salary will be 30000euros right? (Approx. Gross25lacs rupees) and as you said the taxes will be less. But in case of after finishing pg in Germany as a specialist who can earn 6000euro+1800 (extra duties approx.;30%of normal salary) total gross 7800euro per month(6.7lacs rupees). What a difference in salary!!!. Are you sure about it? Becoz a general practitioner getting 25lacs and a specialist getting 6.7lacs . What is this!! Pls reply, thanks in advance🌹

    • @docdeemishra
      @docdeemishra  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The data is correct and your interpretation is also correct, however you have confused Hausarzt ( GP) to Honorararzt ( Locum Doctor). Honorararzt is not a regular thing, hospital hire such doctors only when they have acute shortage of doctors..for few days to few months, till they find a proper normal contract doctor. colleagues who happened to find such gigs for couple of months bagged 17-20K Euro monthly for those months. For such jobs people also move 500 kms, live in Hotels just to do the Job. But its not permanent and also not a training situation.

      Hello Dr. ,The PG Degree from India is not directly recognized in Germany. If you decide to continue towards a career in Germany, you will have to repeat your PG Training in Germany again. One can apply for partial recognition but that will in best situation reduce 1-2 years from the 5-6 years PG Training. To get a permanent medical license in Germany and start residency , one needs to pass 2 Exams after having completed the German language course upto B2.

    sir is it same competency of pg in neurosurgery or any other field for that matter and is Dortmund viewed as one of the expensive states or not relatively?

      Competency in any surgery is an individual matter, depends upon hardwork and motivation of the doctor. it cannot be generalised country wide. Dortmund is a big city in WestGermany. Big cities are more expensive than the smaller ones
