At 6:45 in the vid, a lot of Arabic countries will have that kinda mesh patterned balcony type thing on the top floor, the completely covered one on the right is the better example. The reason they have this is because typically women would live on the top floor. The pattern covered balcony allows the women to be able to see out but also covers them from the men being able to see them!
