Wow! You have skills. Beautiful doll! How do you remove the original paint and what type of pencils are you using? Then how do you seal the doll's new face? Is it waterproof after? I love your work and the fact that you are sharing your technique is wonderful. It demonstrates your confidence as an artist.
You can remove the factory paint with 100% pure acetone. Usually they use watercolor pencils to do the faceups, with soft pastels as the blush and eyebrows.

hi,i have this monster high doll, cleo. and i would love to repaint her. i never repainted a doll . im really good at drawing but i love the way you do the eyes and im afraid ill mess it up with the eyes,blushing and everything.is repainting dolls hard at first ,if so wat are some tips?

Are you sealing it before and after? Because thats what makes them stay.

I really want to try to make a custom just for fun I'm at he prego lol and it looks like it'd be fun... I was wandering what kind of color pencils you use and what that gloss paint is called... also how do you get the original paint off ??? Lol alot of questions but I hope you'll help me out
She uses 100% acetone nail polish remover, and water color pencils. She also preps it with a spray sealant. (She's got a supply video)
