    It’s just something about his music that wakes up my soul every time that’s why he’s The Godfather of funky soul music he ran the 70s RIP Mr James Brown

    This had to be late '96 or very early '97. Arthur Dickson can be seen playing at 2:59 prior to "Mousey" Thompson's drum solo at 3:50. Arthur played with JB for nearly 20 years, '78-early '97. Can only find one video in "97 in which he was still playing, & he passed in '98. Additionally, the appearance, composition and choreography of both the Bittersweets and the Horn Section are most consistent with this time frame, reference Bercy-Paris Show, Dec.'96, also posted by Dutchsoulman. Notice that neither Sheila Wheat, Leroy Harper, or St.Clair Pinckney (passed Feb.1, '99) are present.

      Probaly you didnt read my comment any at all ..This was 20 Dec 1996 ..i was there,oh yeah even still have my original backstage pass , and have met bobby ferrell from boney m during th soundcheck also spoke to george mc crae .. this show was Big
