This was so beautiful to watch. I love that G-mama and Pop are amazing. As a grandparent theirs nothing more special than grandchildren even if the parents aren’t on great terms. On our end it’s also important not to take sides and involve yourself with what the parents have going on. Just be grandparents and love those babies ❤️❤️

I am so happy to see the grandparents step up to the plate, and getting to know all 3 of the boys. That is what I did when my son wasn't doing right by his children. Now all 5 of my grandkids say all their memories of me when they were younger , are very good memories. I am the kind of grandma, I wish I would have had. Now I have a 6 yr old great granddaughter, and a soon to be 3 month old great grandson! I am truly blessed indeed. Thank God, that he sent you a great man. God bless you All.

@@bigjazoit’s not when a parent fail in their duties it’s the kids who get affected by their dereliction of their parental duties. So her mentioning it it’s nothing wrong in that because the kids may have noticed that their dad is failing in his duties towards them .
I love how the G-parents include Racer as their grand baby instead of excluding him since he isn't biologically related them. You truly have a loving support system for all your boys and yourself as well! You are the epiphany of a very blessed family! Much love to you all❤

I'm so happy that you do add the other child(ren) from the other parent. Some people don't do that. I've known way too many people who don't and won't accept children from a previous relationship or new relationship under their wings because those children aren't related to them. I've seen it with my own relatives treating the other children like they don't exist or like trash.
I could only describe that as, maturity from all parties except the biological father. Because most black relationships lack that and then some. It's the truth unfortunately.

I absolutely admire how much love they showed all of the boys! You can feel their genuineness through their interactions with your youngest! Grandparents are the best people to have around your children especially when they do for all even if one is not their biological grandchild. This made my heart smile to see how well you all got along. Keep up the phenomenal work as parents your boys are in a happy and healthy environment ❤

@@donjerthemisfit ohhh stop you have so many videos on social media alone of men being disgusted by step children/children from their wife's previous relationship whether its a marriage or if the mother was single before. They literally act like the despise those children. Obviously there are many men who are wonderful stepfather too. But majority do not wan to take care of anyone else's child but their own unless they made the decision to adopt as a couple. My bestfriend has a horrible experience with her stephfather... to the point that she had to go to counselling... he was mean no only to her but also to her friends we all saw it. Didn't matter if we were polite/friendly towards him he thought he was in some competion with his step-daughter....and that it was very childish. Very wicked how some men can have such hatred for children who haven't done anything to them.

I know he failed because he's not there. You're saying he still has time, when is the right time? When they are teenagers? The right time is when they are born. He dropped the ball but luckily someone else was there to catch it. Those kids deserve a good father, while their biological dad sits on the side lines trying to figure out when it's a good time for him to become one.
We don’t know the circumstances for breakup, there’s always two sides to the story but it’s admirable hw grandparents r there for the kids.
There's no excuse for not seeing your kids or taking care of them, unless he in jail. I would see my kids no matter what.

This is the exact same thing I went through. If it weren't for me, my kids would've NEVER known their paternal grandparents. I drove them out to the sticks to spend the day with their grandparents, and stayed myself because it was too far to drop them off then come back & pick them up.

First, I love the way the grandparents showed up and loved all over ALL the children...this shows what type of people they are. Good people. Period!!! Brett is so kind, open-,minded and selfless because it is obvious he only want what is best for the children. This video is so beautiful. The amazing value of maintaining healthy "blended" families is to embrace all sides of the family dynamic and make it reflect "one" whole unit. I get so many compliments for the relationship that I've always established with my ex-husband. We have 2 children together. He remarried and had a 3rd child with his 2nd wife. And I also remarried and had a 3rd child. Co-parenting is very important. The four of us worked together so well as a team. The children never felt divided growing up... we were like one big loving family. No drama... no bitterness... no division!!! We proved that we don't have to accept labels such as "Broken" families... it's much better being referred to as "Extended" families. I am so happy for your family as well!!! Broken relationships SHOULD NOT HAVE TO break the close bonds and love each child deserves to have with both their parents...
How lucky are those two boys! Love the vibe of the G-parents, to have the love in their hearts to not stand blindly by their son and to embrace their new family as well as the blood...they all win. Rose's thoughts and words are to live for. Couldn't love this family more ❤

My mother has always stresssed how crucial it is to ensure healthy Co-parenting even in this case. Keeping the family together in all types of ways without feeling weird about it is what is needed for the kids to be healthy and happy as well. Beautiful to keep the bond going. Beautiful. I loved this video! I love how accepting and positive your relationship is with the g-parents. And especially how they are with your youngest son. It’s encouraging because we do the same thing with our 5 year old grandson. He does not belong to our son (the 10 year old does) but we love him and his mom as if they were our own. My son’s ex even calls us mom and dad. We don’t believe in throwing away the family simply because their relationship ended. Good work you two!!!

Your family dynamic can be used as an example for so many out their. Children learn from their parents. When they don’t allow inclusion from all involved in a child’s life it can be confusing for children. Then it just becomes normal. By learning to accept and include new partners with exes or grandparents it benefits to a child’s growth immensely in my opinion. I applaud you and your husband for being open minded and loving. People have a right to voice and say what they feel and as a counselor isn’t it bad judgment for you to speak negatively about how a person chooses to deal with their emotions? So is she supposed to hold back her emotions to please others? That’s not healthy or does it make sense. The minds of negative energy will always find something negative in a positive situation.
