Good info to note here. Just started a play through of Graveyard Keeper and am really enjoying it. There is a small tutorial that the ghost Yorick gives you in the beginning but it does not really explain things that well, especially when it comes to what happens when certain parts are removed. Once you unlock cremation you can burn bodies on pyres just south of the church i believe, you still get paid when you do so and the body quality will have no impact on your graveyard so you can use bad bodies or ones you've entirely mutilated, if you do that enough and create enough urns you can also use those to make a structure in the graveyard to house them i believe, although i'm not sure what sort of aesthetics that will add as i have not cremated enough yet to try
i recently made 1 and it was like a 4x4 i believe and gave like 12 or 18 towards the graveyards aesthetic making it actually very reasonable as far as space to beauty goes (and it actually looks nice) and that's just basic stone i believe you can do marble or something even later on as well, though im not sure if you can demolish it to move them around or replace them in the future so that's something to consider.
so what i learned is all white and red skulls is coming from special parts so you better save parts that remove white skulls of two or three and put it on another body that the same body part that removes the special organ speaking for utmost experience a body with three or two white skulls has atleast one special two or three white skulled special organ.
I like to try and figure out most things based on trial and error and gameplay alone however with the autopsy mechanics in this game it would have taken a while to figure out the effects that removing certain body parts has. kinda disappointed the game doesn't disclose this information in the tutorial. This video was super helpful and avoided spoilers so thank you for that!
I think it's not a good idea to throw the bad body in the river, it's a lot of "ash" for the next of the game. And sure, the grave have to be at "0" point and don't forget to interchange that corps with better corps when you can. I'm not sure if this is understandable, I'm not very good in English.
I'm brand new to the game. I bought this and all DLC because they were 60% off. OK so let me try to understand. Basically ALWAYS remove blood and fat as these will always help the body score. Also, bone? because it can't negatively affect the score unless you have a surgeons error. Is there a number of white skulls people generally consider good? Like do you only bury bodies that are 2 white and no red of higher? Is there a standard number that we should be shooting for? Also, is there a negative to throwing bodies in the river? Can i exhume old bad bodies and replace them with better ones? What does cremating them do for us? Also, My certs are only worth like 1.5 silver.. is that normal? Is there something I'm supposed to be doing so that they are worth more? Thank you,
Pretty good basic intro for beginners, however I've learned that there are some other important things to know like if you unlock technology for cultists it shows you which organ is good or not. I think you should make another video, if you have not already, advanced autopsy to better use the organs crafting and burial as well as for zombies.
Cremating the body will also give you a certificate that you can exchange for coins at the dead horse, the bar. Throwing body into water is a waste of money.

Awesome! Yeah, you can cremate below. It takes an awful lot of wood which annoys me, lol. I'm excited to try building a mausoleum

Thank you, I just kinda skim through reading the mechanics of the game so I just kinda disregarded the skull system

I never toss bodies, I unlock the crematorium ASAP, so that bad ones can still give me money.
There is more as you can modifiy them with alchemy or with the dlc better save Souls you could have up to 26 white skulls in a body.
