He's running to be the 1st Indigenous prime minister of Canada

Mi'kmaw chiefs showed their support for Jaime Battiste in his bid to be the first Indigenous prime minister of Canada. The candidate says he sent the $50,000 and 300 signatures required as part of nomination packages due Thursday.
