This is by far the only positive family I've seen. She taught these children how to be independent, how to empathetic towards others and how to respect people without putting harsh rules on them based on clothing and such things. She truly taught them important values based on modern and feminist views rather from conservative and religious ones.
Also, recently I went to America to visit some of my relatives. Surprisingly the family that lives there was wayyy close than our family in India. They knew their neighbours better than we do. And they were much more respect giving.

Instead of addressing the issues straight away they like to provoke reactions and bad behaviour from the teens to make “entertaining TV”. Even when the show eventually does get to the root cause they exploit the years of pent up emotions within the kids to make the show more dramatic. It’s disgraceful.
I notice that most of these children come from families where parents have separated...so sad, society underestimates the harm...I wish there was more help, resources, counseling etc. for parents to stay together and work on their relationship.
Nalini is kinda top tier as far as host parents on this show was concerned. she did it like 3 - 4 times and her episodes with the teens are some of the highest rated and viewed of the series.
I’m in the beginning rn and Nadia has actually been so nice and very aware of her surroundings. She’s so respectful. Whereas Arron has been quite rebellious and rude, but hopefully he is more appreciative later.
I cannot tell you how much love I felt when the girl said she wanted to be like Steve Irwin. I spent my whole childhood watching him and learning. Bindi and her brother are carrying on the legacy.
I love the grandma. She is quiet but when she speaks, people take notice. It was the same with my grandfather. He was always there to listen and knew when and what to say.
Because really anyone can get good grades. Its not hard. It all comes down to effort. With the exception of learning disabilities of course because I know someone will come back with that.
I love this family's approach to getting through to the children. There is no yelling or aggression. They are kind and patient and willing to hear what the children have to say.

my parents are divorced as well and I noticed that most of these troubled kids come from separated families. I am glad I am not like this because both of my parents talked me through the situation and guided me through the hard times.

my parents are divorced as well and I noticed that most of these troubled kids come from separated families. I am glad I am not like this because both of my parents talked me through the situation and guided me through the hard times.
Trust me these two aren’t even that bad to be honest. Loved the fact that they didn’t even get along at all. Honestly made me laugh so much as usually the two get along 😂😂😂
