i have a 2005 ozark, it runs pretty good, i rode the crap out of it and i broke the frame lol, you guys make a pretty nice nimble atv thats easy on tghe turns and drives well
I suppose you could but a 4wd will do a whole lot better. Depends on if the snow is fresh and there's no ice. May need better tires and some weight on the rear rack at least.
@IxsnipeddxI It's a great machine - more in the class of the Big Bear 400 - SRA, smaller, lighter, more nimble. Plus if there is a bad KQ it's the 450 - tall, under-powered, buzzy.
i have a question about this atv, is it ok to startup and take off in 2nd gear every-time? or will i be putting too much stress on the engine?, i notice the ozark has a very low 1st gear, what are your opinions? thanks
@julian0048 I'd look for something like the Carlisle Trail Wolf. Check a place like Rocky Mtn ATV or ATV Tire Direct (not sure I got that name right off the top of my head ;-) and see what they offer in your size.
@LITTLEREBEL55 You can hook it up to the hot wire at the ignition but it won't have the same power and won't work when the key's not on. It' much better to run those wires back to the battery. It's not that hard....
i like the thought of holeshots on this bike cause i put them on my 350 rancher from my 300ex and it made it handle a million times better. those balloon make it handle sloppy.

What would you prefer doug, a Yamaha Big Bear 400, or a Suzuki King Quad 450?

can you put a plow on this unit? if so do you think it would perform well under 4inches of snow?
@ATVTVCOM why the 400?
i have a 08 ozark... i like it but i have 26'' mudlites and when i get into tacky mud it spark knocks
@Neil1014M From Suzuki. Ask your dealer.
