Miru & Nick On farm visit - Rere ki uta

Rere Ki Uta, Rere Ki Tai is a collaborative research project that aims to build more resilient, profitable and healthy farms for land and environment, families and farming communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Together, our collective of farmers and researchers are sharing knowledge, experience, and science to test ideas at the forefront of soil management.
We want to know whether farming in ways that look after our soils (tread lightly) might be better for everyone, and if so, how to do it. Nick Collins visits Miru to understand how they farmed and some of the changes implemented since the start of the project.
