Chef Keno I've been playing since 1987 (34 years old) and I can guarantee that this was not pre-recorded. A few reasons why Russ sounds so good: 1. He's a phenomenal player. 2. Noise gates and effects. 3. Seymour Duncan pickups. 4. A hot-rodded amp. 5. A good sound crew.
He uses a the EVH 5150 III. Before that i think he used marshalls. IF he ever used a modeler, it would be a Fractal or Kemper, in that case. They sound very similar to the real deal, especially a kemper.
A big part of their bitching sound is Sachel's awesome background vocals that sit inconspicuously right under the main vocals...not on the top. I love it...he's so musical and it's under appreciated because of the great guitar playing.

Travis Haley as Lexxi was HOT, Satch is awesome, Michael Starr is always fun, Stix Zadinia plays his part with skill, Spyder is the cool guy and I hate to see Lexxi leave, but it's their life so live it like you feel you should, and I will always remember the band as it was...radical!
