    Not a Mopar guy but doesn't matter when you watch a video on performance mods and the the person doing it is teaching the right way. Nice video yet again bro.

      Thank you Ed. I can’t take credit for coming up with the idea though.

    I like the finished product. What would be funny is if you had a framed picture of yourself in the duster garage vice an actual duster.

      I was thinking I’d mail you a framed picture of me, so you could hang it in your garage.

    Would this mod affect the cooling system efficiency?

    • @Duster_Garage
      @Duster_Garage  ปีที่แล้ว

      My friend did this on his engine and it didn’t negatively affect the cooling of the engine.

    What squirter size you running on your 340?

    • @Duster_Garage
      @Duster_Garage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My white Duster has a 340 with a Holley 600 vac secondary, 31 squirter. My yellow Dusters 360 has a 750 double pumper, 37 squirters front and rear.

    • @CashMopar
      @CashMopar ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Duster_Garage mine has a 31 in both. The 340. Had an off idle or floored while moving hesitation. Put in a hollow bolt to the squirters which made it almost go away. Now im thinking of trying different size squirters, its a 650 double pumper. Also might try different cam after that if it’s the same.

      @@CashMopar a stumble on acceleration is usually caused by a lean condition. Bigger squirters would probably help.

      That’s the way I did my thermostat bypass, but I retained the heater for the time being.

    I'm Duster guy too. Have a 73 now, that I am trying to make a clone for the 76 I had in high school. I am having trouble with heater. Is there an email or website where I can explain more fully?

    Well closing off the coolant bypass is not a good idea 👎🏻
    The heater is okay 👌 to block off.
    When the thermostat is closed you need flow passed the thermostat to flow coolant passing the wax element

    • @Duster_Garage
      @Duster_Garage  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re correct and I did have an issue with that. I resolved it by drilling two 1/4 holes in the thermostat to allow flow while it’s closed.
