Absolutely. At present only KLM operates to KUL as compared to load of airlines to SIN & BKK. Though on a brighter side, British Airways is set to resume flights to KUL in a few months.
Singapore is a more attractive country in terms of economics, which explains why there are a lot more European airlines flying there. Plus, it isn't really hard to go to Malaysia from Singapore, since air fares are insanely cheap.
