This new generation of Equinox has more standard safety tech with Chevy safety assist, teen driver, and intersection automatic emergency braking across all trim levels.
Under the hood- a 1.5 L turbo with CVT in front wheel drive versions
or an 8 speed automatic transmission with available all wheel drive.

Just seen a brand new LT on the Expressway today. I knew it was new because of the temporary plate. Very nice design.
Like the way Chevy has the screen at the driver's fingertips like Chevy used to do with their 1988 style trucks

I like the new Equinox RS, I'm just not sure if I like the red color on the interior. I wish they offered more choices. They do offer the LT with a "black edition" upgrade but it comes with a lot of unnecessaries that pushes the price up to the cost of an RS anyway.

Is the headliner also black?..would think it would be like a cave inside with the all black interior..looks classy overall though. Nice in-depth review!
The headliner is dark, but it did not seem like a cave to me because I had the pan roof shade open.
It seems upscale and sporty inside.
I have a 2019 LT with the 1.5, love it but this one is superior in every way. Its been criticized for the one powertrain, yes the 2.0 should be offered or a PHEV like in China but i wonder how it is with the 8 speed in AWD? The 1.5 with the 6 speed and 203 Ft Lb's of Torque is plenty for me but sometimes 15 to 20 more hp would be nice.
@6:50 Why is it only indicating 243 miles on a full tank of gas?
you can see she mentioned that she has been running this car in idle a lot, which reduces the avg MPG of the car, that is used to calculate the estimated range.

GM/Chevy ain't the laughing stock anymore folks, only con is remove the CVT FWD and use previous generation 6 speed auto FWD.......
Compared to the various conveniences and options of the interior of the latest cars, the Chevrolet seems to be too simple.
What do you think about this part?
I think they made a massive improvement with this infotainment. The screen is really great as is the gauge cluster. I think making heated seats and steering wheel standard is also a very strong offering and I like that they’re putting the option to get this pain roof in. So I would say I definitely think it’s in line with the price and the competition.

I’ll show you that on the next one. It’s the Activ trim in AWD so it’s the 8 speed. Unfortunately I didn’t take a video of the cvt .
Engine and CVT are all trash before 100,000 miles.
