ირაკლი ჩარკვიანი (ქართ. ირაკლი ჩარკვიანი) (დ. 19 ნოემბერი, 1961 - 24 თებერვალი, 2006) იყო ქართველი პოეტი, პროზაიკოსი და მუსიკოსი, ბოლო დროს ცნობილი მისი ფსევდონიმით მეფე (მეფე, "მეფე"). ჩარკვიანი ცნობილი იყო თავისი ექსცენტრიული იმიჯითა და პოეზიით და ეკლექტიკური მუსიკით, რომელიც მოიცავდა ალტერნატიულ როკს, ელექტრონულ მუსიკას და ჰიპ ჰოპს.
Irakli Charkviani (Georgian: ირაკლი ჩარკვიანი) (November 19, 1961 -- February 24, 2006) was a Georgian poet, prose writer, and musician, lately known under his pseudonym Mefe (მეფე, "The King"). Charkviani was known for his eccentric image and poetry, and for eclectic music, which spanned alternative rock, electronic music and hip hop.
იგი გარდაიცვალა „გულის პრობლემების“ გამო,[1] საკუთარ სახლში 2006 წლის 24 თებერვალს, დატოვა რამდენიმე გამოუქვეყნებელი სიმღერა, რომლებიც შემდგომში გამოვიდა ალბომი Dzirs Mefe („ძირს მეფე“) 2007 წელს.
He died, reportedly of "heart problems",[1] at his home on February 24, 2006, leaving several unpublished songs which were subsequently released as the album Dzirs Mefe ("Down with the King") in 2007.
