- probsbly isnt a good idea for me to put the description at 12 am but whbwhbwhb i might as well before i forget (usually i put descriptions right as i post stuff, but this video was for an assignment that i was scrambling to finish in time for the deadline so i just didnt put this here sooner 😭)

while this was for an assignment, i already had a mv animatic style idea for wish i could care less tucked in my drawing to-do list, so i thought that this was the perfect time to make it. and all the stress aside!! this was actually really fun to make!!! i didnt have to color everything but i just had to because colors are so cool i love them sm
i also want to take the time to talk about the next rd mv that im planning to make :D. im not gonna reveal the song until i actually have a draft, but all you need to know is that its another vocaloid song lol

help wait i didnt think about that 😭 the colors getting darker was more of that feeling of falling deeper into frustration, and while the colors are still dark at the end it's a little warmer as if the artblock was accepted and deciding to "give it another go" some other time. but that interpretation of it happening throughout the day adds so much more to it ough

God, I legit tear up everytime I listen to this song. This is probably the best song I've even seen portray the perfectionism side of being an artist in any field. Its not even like, a super important song in the actual game, its just a side thing. And yet it has more heart behind it than alot of big budget pop songs nowadays. coles arc resonates a lot with me, and despite it just being a side thing makes it much more meaningful somehow. the way night shifts are optional hits harder when you do decide to invest yourself in the story more. this is just me being sappy over rhythm doctors story again but it's just that great lmao

i don't really "write" more as much as i used to nowadays (the website i use to write doesn't even count as writing tbf) but when i did being a perfectionist was such a big trouble for me that i had to fix EVERY SINGLE minor problem, so this song is really relatable to me and that's why i love it!! ❤
This video is just so beautifully made and AHHHH i love it so much!! I kept laughing at all the silly little bits sprinkled here and there those were some of my favorite parts. This video really hit close to home because I'm stuck in a loop of comparison and perfectionism and i just wish i could care less and focus on myself. I've done pretty well on stopping myself from getting into that loop and feeling down on my skill and ability but it gets a lil too hard sometimes. It's okay though I've made it this far I'm not gonna stop now. As a (kind of mediocre admittedly) musician it is unreal how much harder it is to write music than it seems. I don't think I've finished a song in months and it's ALWAYS due to a lack of motivation. Mad props for actually being able to get this out.
