I use an induction cook top in conjunction with my system. It can help you get to your temps quicker. I find once I reach boil that the kettle element can do the job on its own and I turn off the induction....
A bit random...but what camera(s) are you using? External Microphone(s)? Lighting rig(s)? And I'm assuming After Effects & Premiere or something similar? Thanks!

We're doing tasting videos in the actual brew videos now, but don't have a tasting vid for this beer. That said, this beer was one of our favorites. 100% recommend brewing it.
We choose not to sparge and we hit 70-72% BH efficiency on most of our beers. The beauty of the BIAB system is ease of use-- sparging just adds another step. You could easily hold back water and use that to sparge. Everyone brews differently-- this is the way we prefer to brew.
You stated your strike temp at 152, added your grains and then hit your target temp of 152.... what a useless video for anyone starting. You're making it seem easy but actually just confusing people, just stop. These are the video's that are inundating homebrew forums with questions. Ask yourself what question are you hoping to solve by adding a youtube video and start from there. This one isn't helping.
While I definitely don't agree with everything that was done, or the way everything was done, in this video, the temperature setting was not one of them. I don't know if you brew on a recirculating electric brew system, but I do and I also set my PID to my desired mash temp. I don't seem to lose temperature while mashing in like I used to when I was using a cooler as a mash tun. When I first switched over to electric brewing I was way overshooting my mash temps by using the calculations given to me from BeerSmith. Just thought I'd throw that out there as a personal experience. In case anyone cares, no I'm not affiliated with Claw Hammer and built my own system from scratch.
I know this is an old vid. But yeah watching this at work. The guy talking off camera made the work day exciting
On my 12th hour brewing a Triple in a Brewers Edge and seriously contemplating a new system....thanks for the videos guys
12 hours brewing?! Why. Why 12.

Greetings from Poland.
Great vids! Add the tasting at the end please!
Yo what was the name of that skiing game he was playing on the desktop?
I remember playing that as a kid
Jeez Kyle. You’ve come a long way.
I'm brewing with london ale yeast right now.
Love your stuff guys. Do you guys not sparge with your system?
I was feeling bad that it takes me 25min to reach a boil after mashing, guess that ain't too bad :D
Glad you guys actually use good music in your clips!
Did I miss the sparge? Does all-grain brewing always need a sparge?
With BIAB and other methods it doesn't
No sparge!
Yea

Again, no sparge ?
no mashing in potatoes?
When did Dennis Reynolds start brewing beer
Looks more like Tommy Wiseau with a haircut.
Nice video. What size is that stainless steel table?
Dan-- I'll take some measurements tomorrow when I'm in the office.
Thank you...no rush
i'll toss out 30x60 - something like a SS305.
@dan - 2 feet x 6 feet
Thank you
Whats the purpose of the gypsum, calcium chloride and epson salt?

Dude got a yerba mate in his fridge nice
You add calcium chloride and then add half a campden tablet to get rid of the chlorine?
Chlorine is not the same as chloride.
Yes it is. A salt of chlorine is a chloride. Calcium chloride consists of one calcium atom and two chlorine atoms,

If a chlorine and and chloride were the same why do we have different names for them

what about the final result? i think you should have to show us, like a degustation....

Shit anybody else scared that that round bottom flash falls the fuck off the fridge??
Final gravity?????? That was your Original Gravity, Final is after fermentation.
and can't be read with the refractometer without a conversion factor
Too much emphasis on hitting all targets. .002 gravity missed is like .25% nothing to worry about.
wert not water ugh
I feel like i watched all your brewing videos.. why aren't you ever sparging.
I feel like its a huge waste of sugar

like seriously, how much weed are you dudes consuming. Your making like no sense whatsoever
Exactly what are they not making sense about?

totally agree Robert. This guy is a n00b. This was painful to watch
