@PICKUPSPEED I'm sure there are exploits in the setup that break the physics, but accounting for his "realistic" driving style and the limited practice time he had, he was better off increasing the track grip.
@@danielebrambilla2290 he was propably using the newest version of the car (1.2), but this version is slower then compared to the release version (1.0). With the release version a sub 1.20 is easily possible
@@PICKUPSPEED i think the problem is with the tyre compound, with the C5 tyre is easy to beat Max's lap but the soft compound for this weekend is the C3 which is the one Tom is using, but if you did a 1:19 with the C3s thats really impressive.

You’re right, but it was obvious he was having understeering issues in the high speed corners. That car isn’t definitely close to the actual RB performance.
@Franceee___ or it's just his setup. He may not actually like it, I always go for the live backend and stiff front end. Saving oversteer is sometimes not the best direction

You had a lot of understeer, on your fastest lap your top speed was 330 kph while in real life was 318/319 kph; just based on that I'm pretty sure you couldn't put as much downforce as in real life and that also explains the understeer on the car in this mod.
@@Tom97I know, but since your top speed was much higher than real life the mod didn't let you put the same amount of downforce that they were using in real life, and that made you lose time through the corners.
Did you consider that finish line is bit further up in game? I think you are actually maybe within 0,5 - 0,7 of the real time. Great driving, by the way 😎
I like the sound of the engine... And how the exhaust system works when you release the gas pedal.... F2024 has turned into an arcade game with bad physics... I tried to set it to 450 degrees but it still feels like you're playing on a keyboard
Tom you're too much downforce at the rear(downforce level) giving too much drag and understeer...this is the safest setup I have seen you use in a long time, zero snaps or oversteer.

I think the track simply had more grip IRL, they were able to do all the three corners in the final sector flat.
Nope the problem is just that, he is not just enough fast thats all, the car is capable of doing even 1:19

Main difference is that you lift and break at S3. Max was technically flat out except the last corner. That's where you loose a lot of time
