Awesome! As soon as I saw that box behind you I knew what it was! Your Dillon primer pickup tubes will work, and are easier to use than the ones that came with it. Any standard shell holders will work, too. I have mine mounted on n inline plate..best way to go when you can manage it. The little holes on the right side of the base are to hold the primer rams. You’re going to really like this unit! That’s a very generous gift, Joe! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Nabbed one of those off of eBay a couple of years ago. Joined it's brethren, Forster, Lee and the small RCBS version on the bench. Welcome addition. I use to prime my benchrest ammo.

Those are really good.
Pricy but nobody complains after that.
There are a lot of people that off press prime even on a progressive press.
The Dillon 550 lets you pull the case and visually verify seating quick and easy.

I like pre priming on my Lee classic turret press. I’m not a big fan of the Lee safety prime.
