Bob, We, the racers who are there all season long have nothing but the highest praise for the time, effort and work you and Shelby put in are so grateful that words cannot do justice. we thank you and look forward to every weekend to see both your smiling faces and your extremely friendly personality. I find it to be a joke that anyone would question the effort you put in. I certainly hope this post does not deflate you from your passion for the track and us racers in any way, shape or form. Great job filming, those car's are cool, But I watch those video all the time but I think a lot of racers would like to see some of the street type cars at old time drags, I ran a 1970 chevy p/u at mission from 93 to 97 never missed the old time drags, Again great job, I miss racing just can't afford it anymore.
I am very disappointed in this video Robert. There was at least another 6 hours worth of beautiful "old timer" builds. Many of my friends raced their vehicles and didn't have an opportunity to film their passes... I was excited initially when finding this video but i quickly realized it was just a childish obsession with funny cars. Thank you for showing me the first ten minutes of this awesome weekend .
Ricky Watt well......before casting your opinion, I suggest you find out some facts, like I've been at the track every weekend sometimes for 4 days solid ( Doorwarz, Nat. Open ,etc ) and both days at this event. I still have enough footage to put together a few more video's....... but..... I was covering ( paid ) a complete class so that was VERY important so they can have a DVD later this year. We also took 2,000 pics that weekend so I can't shot video and take pics at the same time . The video's I post take HOURS !!! to edit with no pay...... I do this so people can enjoy the races if they can't make it out
