    All it took to get a blueprint blue RAV4 was two weeks of waiting. My wife insisted on the blue, and it turned out to be well worth it. We have had zero fit and finish or quality problems with this car.

    We have a RAV4. We just switched from Honda to Toyotas and have found that the Info entertainment system on the Toyota is extremely user unfriendly.

    My top complaints: 1) Road & tire noise - even when brand new. 1980's Corolla Station Wagon levels of noise. 2)
    mediocre ride comfort and directional stability. New Camrys eat up the bumps better and are more directionally stable by comparison. 3) mediocre seat comfort. Not horrible, but not real good on longer trips either. The similarly sized Toyota Venza SUV fixes all these issues, but costs at least $5,000 more

    It's not supposed to be a Lexus like you said it's a fairly inexpensive midsized SUV I think it is what it is 😊

    My only complaint with my 2024 RAV4 TRD Off Road is that it came with Special 01A Falken Wildpeak A/T Tires, which are NOT Severe Snow Rated and have hardly any tread on them. After getting stuck in the snow, I ended up replacing these tires with real Falken's which have a much deeper tread and are Severe Snow Rated. Shame on Toyota for putting these crappy tires on this car.

    How about the hood waving around at highway speeds? I was taking it home and thought the hood wasn’t latched. I actually checked when I got home and it was definitely latched. Can’t believe Toyota launched this car with such an easily fixable defect. Mine isn’t loud inside. Michelin tires. Bet the loud ones have Bridgestones. I also agree with the commenter about directional instability. No road feel.

      Hmm….mine wasn’t like that.

    I haven't had any fit and finish issues in my 2023 RAV4 XLE, but I will say that my wireless Apple CarPlay can be glitchy at times. For example it will once in awhile it will not automatically connect to Bluetooth on startup, and I have to toggle it off and on my phone to reestablish that connection. That's annoying, especially if wanting to use the Apple navigation on the phone. Of course there is always the option of using the Toyota navigation, but all my favorites and settings are on the phone app. Speaking of apps, the Toyota App in clunky and not very intuitive. The first week I had it I kept getting car door unlocked warnings on my phone, while the car was in my garage. It took a minute to find the settings and disable that feature. Again, annoying! As far as speed is concerned, the RAV4 is quick enough. If I wanted power I would have purchased something else. The car does what it is designed for very well.

    Love the RAV4, the XLE Premium is the best one.

    I have a 2011 Rav4 limited with the v6. I will keep this car forever. I went in to look at the 2024s. Other than have a big phone screen it’s worse than my 2011 in almost every way. My 2011 handles better, drives faster, has a smoother ride and is more comfortable. It just doesn’t have the new sensors and things that might be useful sometimes but it’s necessary for driving.

    You missed styling. The Japanese are notoriously poor at 'styling' their cars. They tend to put too many useless, tasteless, non-functional air scoops, curves, swoops and bends on their sheet metal that are there purely for the sake of being different from previous models. European styling tends to be more tastefully subdued and refined, with less dramatic changes from one model year to the next, while retaining an individuality that identifies their brand. Toyota and Lexus have large & horrendous front grill designs. 'Distinctive' does not have to be ugly. Yes, they want to be different from their competition, but it's not in a good way.
    There was a time when Toyota quality wasn't 'consistent'. That was during a period of rapid expansion setting up plants in the US to keep up with demand. My Camry had head bolds pull out of the crankcase, and when I brought it in to the dealer the Service Manager identified the problem immediately - Because he had the exact same problem happen to his own Camry... $2,400 later it was running again until the transmission failed at just under 300,000-km. (187,000-mi.) And this was after meticulous maintenance at the dealer, including a transmission flush at 160,000-km. (100,000-mi.)

    I rented a car and it ended up being a Toyota Rav 4. I think it was a 2023. It was VERY uncomfortable, HORRIBLE to get in and out of, and VERY NOISY. The hood felt like it was going to FALL OFF and it was Squrrlely and seemed very unstable. Bottom line, it SUCKS!

      I actually prefer a little bit of engine noise as a feedback. Been in a Lexus and Acura where I couldn't tell whether the engine is running or not which I don't like it.

      @user-tb7rn1il3q 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@zeljkodjukic5889I agree that it’s bulletproof, but the engine is very advanced. It’s very high compression so it doesn’t need a turbo. As long as you take reasonable care of it, 300k miles should be easy.
