*number1 you didn't have enough Aluminum powder in the amonium nitrate otherwise it would have been a much larger boom. 2nd you can also set that off with a slower rifle if you add Potassium Perchlorate to the mix too*

Some .22 TCM loads can reach 2100 fps and might set it off. Higher velocities above this increase the chances of a successful detonation.
