I can understand it better, without needing subs. I understand that some dubs are just bad, I guess I was lucky they had great dubs for MHA, Chainsaw Man, Black Lagoon and JJK. I will never understand the gatekeeping on how one should experience something (not talking about you, just in general, what I've seen or been told). The dubbing doesn't change the story. If I can understand what the series is trying to say, it shouldn't matter how I am watching or listening to it.
I like how they keep Power's teeth as long needles to push against the sort of cute sharp teeth trend some anime girls have. She's still adorable, but it is a firm reminder that she is still absolutely not human.
I was under the impression that Denji is based on a dog. He's inclined to be friendly, trusting, and loyal... but he will savage an enemy at his master's command and will do so with no fear or mercy. He'll fight to the death for the sake of someone else, even if he's hopelessly outmatched. His good will is also very easily bought with food or affection. You don't need to keep bribing him though. Like a dog, once befriended, Denji stays your friend. Power meanwhile is a cat. She can be very chill and even friendly, but ultimately is self-serving and her relationships with others are for mutual gain. Nothing else. She's the first to bail if things look bad. She's a hunter though and will gleefully prey on anything weaker than her. If she faces an equal or something stronger, she will *never* risk her neck fighting it unless cornered. The only thing you can count on her for is to look after herself. She can be very feisty and arrogant, but is easily placated with flattery and bribes.

Man as the show started and I saw the animation.... I just can't give enough praise to MAPPA. This animation is beyond limits, thanks for all the hard work guys. Like really, this shit healed every damage Seven Deadly Sin's season 3 caused to my eyes
I love that they have a very sibling like relationship. It's very refreshing, especially because it seems like every other anime/manga wants their protagonist to have 50 love interests. Them being like siblings makes much more sense and is just a more charming dynamic.
This scene and especially Power in general, are brilliant in dub or sub. I don't know how they managed to cast two people who speak completely different languages but are capable of emitting the exact same energy. Seriously don't sleep on the dub for this show it's actually really fun
