Shoot, sorry, Dale. I forgot about how multiple comments hit the wallet. I deleted the other one. I was saying how at 0:36 "shadow of a doubt" reminds me a lot of The Rock's catch-phrase and how your background in the ring still seems to influence your speech and presentation.

You'll hear a lot of phrases I use on the regular that people don't realize come directly from a wrestler. "He smells like smoke because he's been through fire." - JBL
I noticed that even when you flip the switch from addressing the live audience to recording a video (on Twitch or TH-cam), it's seamless like you're cutting a promo! Most people don't have that gift to just speak and improvise on the fly and in one take. That's something you definitely practiced and worked on@@selfpubwithdale

Thanks Dale! I am in the process of completing my first audiobook and had plans to go to Findaway Voices but now I’m super hesitant. I’ve been watching your videos and Authors Republic may be where I head to
Sadly, there's no getting around Findaway Voices because a lot of aggregate distributors (like Author's Republic) used Findaway (the parent company to Findaway Voices) for additional distribution. Essentially, if you go with Author's Republic, they're going to be taking a cut of the cut that Findaway takes for each sale made through that channel. You might as well go direct if that's the case. I'll be in touch with my lawyer this week and confirm with a few sources that this new TOU for Findaway Voices is okay. All signs point to yes, but I want to be certain before agreeing to it. We've got till March 15, 2024 before the new agreement takes effect.

If I habe agree the new terms Thats will apply to my audiobooks or he will change again the agreements??
If the agreement gets changed, they'd be required to have everyone agree to the new one. They can't simply change agreement terms midway through things.
What does SAG/AFTRA have to say?
We'll see, but since there's no marketplace there anymore, is there anything they can really do? Findaway Voices cut ties working with narrators and voice over talent that were associated with SAG/AFTRA. It's on the rights holder now, not Findaway Voices. I'm keeping my ear to the ground, but if you find anything, hit me up. I'd love to hear their thoughts, for sure.

Yeah, I'm much more reluctant to endorse Findaway Voices now and will weigh-in once I have a better grasp of these new Terms of Use.
