We coulda had a 98-99 Bulls team back with Phil, MJ, Pip, Rodman, Kukoc, Harper, and Longley. They were all willing to sign another one year deal and win a 4peat. But the Jerry's refused to bring Phil back, even though he just led them to 3 In a row. Freakin nonsense!

But he had a confidence problem, and that caused a lot of resentment towards Phil and conflict between the two. Jordan said it best In the 97 finals post game conference. "We're entitled to defend what we have until we lose it, And if we lose it then you could say okay... let's go through a change, let's go through a rebuild. But there's no guarantee that a rebuild is going to work. The Cubs have been rebuilding for 42 years." I believe that the Bulls would have likely met the Spurs in the 1999 NBA Finals and ultimately beat them. It would be a hard series, and they were already tired... The 98 Finals we're a tough tough series for Chicago. But Jerry Krause refused to bring Phil back, and ultimately killed the dynasty a year too early in my opinion.
