Not gonna lie, the lady in the background on stage singing increasingly louder as you try the mickey mint ice cream sandwich in disappointment was unintentionally hilarious
I am like her; the temptation would have been there BUT who knows what kind of dirty head that thing was attached to. When I would travel, I would always have a small zip lock back with several hair ties because as an older lady having sweaty hair on my neck would put me in the hospital. 🤣
The chicken parm sandwich is a good idea! I can make fresh, fried chicken tendies, put them on a French roll, and top with sauce and cheese. After a pop under the broiler, serve them forth! My adult son is coming up north (northern Michigan) tomorrow for a short visit with us. This will make a wonderful lunch! Thank you for the idea, Kristen! And, of course, for bringing us along with you! 💜
Oh my goodness! You were spot on , #1 tropical serenade is so gooooood, we tried the cream brûlée croissant…❤tasty goodness , great video! Take care out there in the heat 😊
Girly, I must stop to compliment the fact that you have 28k subscribers and your production value and commentary could easily deserve you over 100k, amazing! Just became a follower ❤❤
The dessert you created looked wayyyy better than that buttercream one. Who would want to eat icing like that? It looked rough and I always appreciate your honest facial expressions!
seriously- why isn't there ice cream in that Mickey cookie sandwich? Or in most of their shakes?? What did ice cream ever do to you, Disney?!? 🙃😅 But I'm definitely gonna steal their "chicken tenders parm" hack at home for a quick dinner! Looks really good!
Will definitely miss the Shootin Arcade, I loved it when I was a kid and my kids love it today. So bummer that they are taking away something great for everyone and give it up to DVC members only. Our family is down on Disney and after many many years of annual pass holders we are all in on Universal and just bought annual passes there instead.
The hat is fabulous. You should start a hat collection. Thank you for this wonderful video. You inspired me to try some things and so glad you reviewed the chicken. Hope to see you in the park some day.
You literally said exactly what I didnt about the chicken Parm sammy before you even ate it, freakin tiny mom & pop places can get the right perfect fried chicken cutlet in NJ for amazing sammies yet Disney cant be bothered n repurposes their tenders...🤦🙄 LOVE how honest you are 🙏 refreshing
Thank you for the great review on the croissant. That is my creation working on the pastry team at Magic. I’m so glad you enjoyed it! But also it is croissant dough, not puff.
Awesome!! You did a great job, with the disappearance of the waffle sandwiches from Sleepy Hollow this will be one of my new go to sweets in the park. Any word on those precious little beauties making a return?
@@wrightdownmainstreet thank you! It makes me happy you’ve enjoyed it! And honestly no idea. They just tell us they are taking things off the menu. But maybe if enough people riot like with the noodles at poly maybe they will bring them back
Hey Kristin, my Wife and I look forward to all of your Vlogs. I think the hat is a good look. Sort of like when Nate replaced the Fedora with the ballcap. It’s a different look but a good one. Maybe every few Vlogs surprise us. Good look-cool hat.
That looks like a trip to Gaston’s is on our list! Thanks for pointing out the new menu items. Today my daughter was upset to find out they removed the Nutella berry waffle! Plus looks like they changed it to a Mickey waffle now. Ugh
Hi Kristen! What you did with the chocolate chip mint cookie sandwich was brilliant! 🤩 Thank you for buying yourself a hat, the sun is brutal at this time of the year, once you get used to wearing a hat , you will not want to leave home without it 🧢 That crème brûlée croissant from Gaston’s is calling our names 😋🥐
I’m a new subscriber over from Mr. Morrow and you are awesome! I’ve seen you cameo in his videos, but finally made my way over. I love that you’re a foodie but you are keeping it 💯! I feel like some food vloggers just say everything is pretty good. If I’m spending that much money I need to know what to skip! Love your vids!
What about "My fantasy Disney Snack" (attention Starbuck and Joffreys) A chocolate Mickey Waffle ice cream sandwich with coffee ice cream (maybe a line of different variety coffee ice creams). They can call it Mickey's Mocha Magic sandwich! A girl can dream!
Hudson is devastated the shooting gallery is closed!! However, that s’mores shakes may soften the blow. Great video as usual! Also you are so cute in the new hat!!
So the cookie is filled with buttercream? Not ice cream? I'm someone who likes traditional birthday cakes, mint oreos, mint ch. chip ice cream... but I can't imagine eating such big dallops of buttercream like that.
You look good in a hat! You should wear more often. Protects your skin too. I sent you my review of the mint sandwich, and while I did not enjoy it, I thought it was more moussey than gritty. I actually didn't think it was sweet enough. Either way it was not good. However, that creme brulee looks so good!
Love your Vlogs ! the chicken parm looked pretty good and the two things that you reviewed at Gaston's tavern look delicious. That's a shame all this time and the mint sandwich was not good???!!!
Kind of glad it's the tenders to be honest with the chicken parm. When I heard about it I was kind of scared that Disney would make a very overly processed chicken patty that can be made in a press instead of using a chicken breast. This is definitely a best case scenario considering this is quick service. I'd prefer tenders over them trying to make a massive "chicken nugget" that fits into a roll.
Great Video Kristen. Next time you do a desert video involving Ice Cream you should wear old clothes or Overalls it is just a suggestion if you want to do this.
Kristen I am somewhat new to watching your channel. I subscribed. I know these days a lot of foods at Disney parks are getting a bad rap. Well in some cases they deserve it. Some stuff just isn't up to the Disney standard for foods. But way back in the early 90s and even in the early 2000s, I was quite impressed with the foods in Disney parks. I know the entire menus at all eateries in all of the parks have changed since the 90s and early 2000s. But that is Disney's failure for lowering their standards and cutting corners on the food quality. I am local to Six Flags Over Georgia and forever, their foods have always been substandard. Typical theme park foods. But when I started going to Disney in the late 80s and early 90s, and then again with my family in the early 2000s, I was so impressed with the higher standard of the food quality at Disney parks. Even at the value resorts food courts the foods were better than typical fast food. But these days with the goofballs in charge of Disney, we are seeing things going down in standard that should not be. Namely food. My daughter and I ate at Cape May two years ago over at the Beach Club Resort. Now I have to say that buffet was exceptionally good. Everything on the buffet was good and juicy as it should be. The bread pudding blew me away. I told the manager that the bread pudding has to be what the angels were eating in heaven. It was THAT good! I do hope Disney will raise their standards on food quality and give us something that will blow us all away. Oh and I agree with you about Columbia Harbor House. I love that place but once I got their seafood combo platter and that was a big mistake. I knew then that their standards had been lowered for the quality.
I was at Disney a week ago and sat in that very spot at CHH. I looked for you and Nate but you weren't there. I did see Ryan getting out of his car at a Rays game but didn't say hi :(
Really happy with the change! It’s like the old fastpass system which I think was great. I would rather pay for the old fastpass system than pay for genie +
Kristin's reviews can really help one avoid the increasingly abundant "sub-par" food at the WDW theme parks. Appreciate her honesty as she tries the offerings and takes on the guess work for us. 🫡
@@Sammymiff "Hold the mayo" is a common preference expressed by consumers within the F&B industry. As long as a reviewer discloses an exclussion within their critique the viewer can weigh that factor accordingly.
Yes!!! If I saw a mushroom sandwich and a chicken parm I would def buy them but after this review I’m going to save my money lol. She is saving me money all over Disney
Everyone has different tastes. One person’s dislike doesn’t mean that it’s bad, it’s just their opinion. I like to try things for myself and form my own opinions
I can make a ham and cheese puff pastry at home, way larger and I bet yummier for 2 or 3 bucks. Disney has a damn cheek. I appreciate your honesty reviews mate. Keep up the good work.
I really think they scrambled so hard at the last minute to make that mint sandwich and didn’t think about just making those cookies to sell as a special sandwich at the Plaza Ice Cream shop 😬
I love a really good Hush Puppy, but I have to say that the ones at Harbour House have been just ok for me - not that flavorful - so no great loss. That mushroom/bread sandwich was a disaster. Sandwich 101 is getting the bread to filling ratio correct. The bread clearly overwhelmed the filling on this one, not to mention the tragic over-fried mushroom discs. Who came up with that and thought it was a good idea? Vegan eaters options are limited, so they need better than this. The Creme Brule pastry looked so good! My experience of any of the basic brownie sundae quick service options at Disney is that they are very substandard. Usually they involve a dry flavorless brownie with blah soft serve. The cookies on the mint sandwich cookie thing looked like it had the same flaw - dry. At least with ice cream it would moisten it up. Brave move to reconstruct the thing with ice cream on the spot!
Do you think that they have actual taste testers to review food before releasing? There should be a panel of guests that they let them try upcoming things before releasing.
Do not leave a Jersey girl to review a chix parm, you were very gentle! I do know about the mid effect in places where you have such low expectations, where you are just so grateful for SOMETHING to eat at MK!
When I saw the new merch line, I assumed the parks were adding mint chocolate chip Mickey ice cream sandwiches , in addition to the vanilla ones. Not this abomination!🤢
The milkshake on the ships the one now , Tomato sauce cheese hoagie bun chicken you can make that at home taste of poverty a lot better than what you bought it for I did not know your price is down there but they do taste better and you fall get make more of that price
Quality and quantity of food across the board seems to be on a downward trajectory. Also noticed since the dining plan returned the snack credit options vastly reduced. Honestly just feels like a cash grab now
Not gonna lie, the lady in the background on stage singing increasingly louder as you try the mickey mint ice cream sandwich in disappointment was unintentionally hilarious
The creme brûlée croissant looked so tasty! What a unique dessert and kudos to Disney for clearly using real vanilla bean in the pastry cream 😋😋
The hair tie sitting there was hilarious

At pretty much any quick service restaurant that serves regular tenders
