The protractor fold is one of my favourites. 10° is a lot of work Angie but you did a very good job. I’ve not done a Center burst with this protractor fold. I usually start my Centerpoint off the shirt but then the folds get very large as they get farther away. I usually do this in a gutter inclined. Because I love the streaks along the edges of the fold. Another great job, Angie
This one was neat. I like the uniform lines & how many there are. I can see what you mean by exploding earth too!💥 I also randomly thought that if this was done in soft grays & blues it could maybe look like a dandelion puff?🤔 I think those are cute, but who knows if it could work😅 Nice job on this one! 👍🏼
Hi Angie love the shirt. The colors are awesome The dive movement is beautiful The center reminds me of a jewel. After the burst it looks like feathers. Thanks for another great video and idea for a shirt. 👍🥰
That’s stunning! I was rinsing a long time, too, plus I keep finding spots of blue on my counter. I used Houdini Blue from Dharma dye. It was my first ice dye, and I may have applied too much. But I certainly got a beautiful deep and vibrant blue. When it gets on my counter, I use Comet cleanser and a disinfectant wipe or sponge to get it off. If there is still a bit of dye on the counter, I use the Comet with a toothbrush. I find turquoise and fuchsia to be the worst at staining counters. I don’t have a craft room, so I use either the bathroom or kitchen sink to rinse out.
Thank you so much! Yes, I think that blue is one of the hardest colors to rinse out. I tend to apply too much dye too. It is easy to do. If you are tie dyeing over a counter, you might try putting a tablecloth of some kind over your counter to catch all of the dye. I'm glad the Comet works to get it off though.
@@FunEndeavors I actually dyed it in a Sterlite storage box, and it managed to get around during the rinse. Even though I try to use gloves, at some point I end up with blue or fuchsia fingers. 🤓
@@1Corinthians2.2 That makes sense, I make a big mess when I rinse out shirts. Thankfully I have a utility sink in the garage that I can use. Otherwise I would spend a lot of time cleaning up my mess. You did great if you only had a few small spots of dye. The dyed fingers are just a fun accessory to tie dyeing that I've gotten used to. I usually end up getting dye on my hands somewhere during the rinse out process too. 😂
@@FunEndeavors A customer where I work asked if I was a painter. I told her no I had done a tie-dye. I said I was trying to hide my fingers. She said not to hide it. It was cute.
Another video to save for warmer days! I cannot find the clips you used in the description, just binder clips and clothespins (broken link FYI). Am I missing them? They look really handy! Love that you added the Souve Vide wand lol. Like this effect, I cannot wait to try it out!
I do that to avoid speckling from undissolved dye. It won't eliminate all the speckles, but it can help with larger ones. I have a blog post about speckling on my website if you'd like more information. www.funendeavors.com/
Can't wait to try this! Your comment "I'm a sucker for dye movement" cracked me up lol.
Well, I do love dye movement! 😂

The clips are quilting clips, and they work great for the small folds. Here is a link to them: amzn.to/3SVFL8P
Looks amazing!

I want to make this.
Awesome! 😀
That is so beautiful. Question, why do you turn the shirt inside out?
