FWIW, with a Canvas, you can also grab a data URL representation of current contents via the .toDataURL() method. But, of course, that will be a PNG encoded as a base64'd pile of line noise

There's a slight incorrectness there in sence of styling SVG. You can always style SVG, but you can't style image. For example if you embed SVG with a tag then it will be stylable, but with that's not possible.
@@heydonworks Correct, you can't style img nor background-image, but you can style SVG. It doesn't have to be inlined to be styled, that's a common misconception. External SVG can be styled with CSS cutstom properties and even be animated that way.
A better disclaimer would have been "God is actually intelligent as evidenced by DNA so would not make this mistake but it was funny so I spoke inaccurate nonsense for a quick laugh so people will upvote my video and give me a sense of purpose because I doubt God's purpose for my life." Or whatever.

Proteins' chicken/egg issue plus the specified complexity in the instructive language is just compelling.
