    Would trees, buildings, or other structures lower the bandwidth connection?

    Is it also possible to connect a 5G Omni Antenna to a router with rf antennes or a wifi dongle with rf connectors for example?

    Can you please tell how to power this antenna if it is on board of a rover and we can supply only 22V LiPo DC supply

    The trouble is if the antennas are high up on mast its very hard to service, I had to mount the rocket in a metal box at bottom of mast and run low loss coax to the antennas.
    also if you install 2 radios and 2 omnis on the one tower it hard to mount them both without one shadowing the other.

    The thing that transmits is the Omni, or the Rocket, because in the ISP Design Center app, when i select the Rocket it dont cover 360º, but with Bullet it does.

    If you have a rocket antenna that can go much further than the nano beam can you connect the nano beam at the maximum distance of rocket antenna with no problems or does the other site have to have a rocket antenna for the long distance

    Can you tell me what the purpose of the Rocket device is? Why I would like to do is extend the reach of my current router/access point. I will not be using this in conjunction with a Nanobeam or any other point to pont system. I have seen other Omni directional antennas and they simply have one coax style cable that then screws into the antenna port of your router/access point. I am just clueless I guess as to how this system works. Thanks.

      It’s kinda like a modem for the antenna, it converts Ethernet to Coax.

      You can get about 2 city blocks out of it. So not terribly far but still good for residential areas with trees where guy 1 can get service but guy 2 cant simply shoot for the omni instead of tower

    I want to connect wirelessly with a public free wife(2,4ghz band,) which is about 400 meters (0.248548 Miles). So, which of hardware products would you suggest me to buy?
    I will appreciate any type of your help and thank you in advance.

    How does it compare to 2.4GHz 15dBi Outdoor Omni-directional Antenna?

    • @HELIACanada
      @HELIACanada  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      its smaller. The 2.4 is physically larger. 5ghz is recommended for most cases as there are more available frequencies. We have used 2.4 in rural areas with frequency is less of an issue but we want to get better coverage through light foliage.

      the antenna is responsible for broadcasting....you cant see SSID unless there's an antenna

      The 5 Ghz Frequency is for N and A type receivers. few mobiles and wireless support b and g type wireless modes. thats why they disconnect with 5 Ghz . check signal, noise and SNR of connected devices.

      It’s actually a 5 GHz. You missed the space and the lower case Z. Also 5G in place of 5 GHz is perfectly acceptable as a shorter term.
