Just a FYI, the pre 2025 Seltos turbo models use a dual clutch transmission. The new turbo models use an eight speed traditional automatic transmission which is drastically better.

The 1.6 smart stream is rock solid. This 2.0 is ehh. Looking at 75k mi without major issues. Crazy how a turbo smaller engine ends up being more reliable. The 2.0 is also gdi only while the 1.6 is dual injected
My mom has the 2020 version of this and it's a great little SUV. Has given her zero issues.
Kia/Hyundai put a lot of effort into their 2 row CUVs and on most offer hybrid option at reasonable price and longer warranties. Kudos to them.

from what i understand, some of the new seltos are also affected by the battery drain issue that ppl are getting on the Carnival.
We have the 2023 version and in the 2 years of ownership haven't had any issues
