I am SO excited for it! I’ve always loved living in apartments in Sims for some reason, so being able to live in fully customizable ones is exciting! I’ve also never built fake apartments before, so I’m excited to give it a try. I’ve already planned two sets of apartments in San Sequoia for my save, and I think they’ll be perfect for it! Also, this build is super pretty!🤍
In the US the term "row houses" are many houses on a block, joined together. Row houses are always older buildings though, built prior to WW2. Typically, there isn't usually more than 1 house on a lot unless it is a duplex or apartments/condos. We have building codes that dictate how far houses have to be apart, for firefighting reasons. So unless a family builds a little cottage for granny on the property (building codes for those too) there are usually not more than 1 house per lot. Little apartments above garages for granny are more common than little cottages, but still rare due to building codes.
I think I prefer decorating bedrooms. Bedrooms are not only for sleeping so I tend to put the most story / personality there. For example: - villain bedroom, small room, a desk with different plans and a board on the wall, stolen money bag under the table, a shelf with medical instruments for self surgery when they get hurt, a mirror covered with a sheet because they hate the way they look, a box for a nightstand because they're quite poor with an alarm clock on it etc - bedroom for a policeman who uses a wheelchair - medical-issue bed, no carpets, big wide door with no doorstep, a dog bed in the corner for their dog (that helps them with the trauma of losing their legs), a stand for their prosthetics, a shelf under the window with plants because they like that etc
Yeah I’ve noticed that when i don’t build for awhile I lose my entire building groove. The only way out of it is to keep building though and I’m so glad you did that here. It turned out great (and I really do like the color palette you went with 😉) ❤
you're such a talented builder, your builds have been my favorites lately!! i love hearing your process, especially how long it can take to figure out floorplans. i build for fun and am soooo tedious with the builds i do so it's nice to see someone else personalizing rooms instead of going all in for generic, basic homes. keep up the good work :)
This incredible build should come with the new pack, WOW!!! Congrads again on 15k and wish you many more, you deserve it. Thank you and have the very best weekend ever.
In Canada we refer to bathrooms as 3 piece (sink toilet and either shower or tub), 4 piece (has everything, includes shower tub combos); I find this system helpful and thought I'd share
These turned out very nice! Where I live in California, these would be called townhomes. In other states I’ve been to they’ve been called duet homes, or twin homes. 😊🧡
These are super cute. I really believe that we are our own worst enemy 😅. I built a apartment building and my family said it looked really good. I was like nope it's crap 😂
Who else is excited for The Sims 4 For Rent?

3 questions- how do you place an object in the air? how do you move things smoothly? and how do you resise carpets?

Oh we really are our own worst enemy! I'm sure your apartment building is amazing. 😍
So it's unfurnished if you want to furnish it. I just furnished the kitchen and bathrooms.
