Aging in the US even with substantial assets and income can still be lonely. Before moving anywhere I think visiting more than once for at least a month and asking all kinds of questions is very important!
Hasn’t happened in Ecuador which allows foreigners to buy even beachfront property. I think inability for foreigners to purchase should keep development down but many countries do have those restrictions and if I was just starting out and much younger it would keep me from ever wanting to live there but not keep me from traveling as a tourist.
I started following Scott’s channel after he was previously on your channel. I have never seen anyone interact with the locals in their language like he does! He genuinely loves the filipino people and it’s mutual. Enjoy your time back at Lake Tahoe and in your future travels, Scott!👏🏼🇺🇸💖🇵🇭

I went all over Siquijor about 12 years ago. Back then even Filipinos wouldn’t visit because of its voodoo/witchcraft reputation, which is ridiculous of course. But now with all these You Tubbers going that no longer applies!

Regarding the issue of having a girlfriend or a wife, there are several long time expat Philippines travel vloggers who are your age, and they have girlfriends, or a wife, and are happy in their relationships. And up to this day, they are still traveling and vlogging in Philippines, and most of the time solo.
So you should, and I believe you too can find a high quality partner like of these guys.
You may already know some of these guys because they are the most influencial, and have the most number of subscriber Philippines travel and lifestyle TH-cam vloggers.
Never mind just come back once a year for a holiday you have at least 20 years of working life in you yet 😉👍😁🤔✋🤘
PH is heaven on earth for rich Filipinos only & not the ideal country for foreigners to settle foreigners in PH have very limited rights can't own properties & full business ownership foreigners obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH which is not the case of newcomers

You don’t have to waste your life while working. I take 5 weeks vacations a year and also go places every other weekend with my family. Don’t wait until you retire to live
