Thankyou for the information,I am an international student residing in Singapore,Do I need to take the admission test like ucat or isat if I want to go to university of Sydney,or Melbourne
Hey thanks for this super helpful! Do you know where we can get a idea of how to study for isat? I only have the sample questions and thats it. Is there any other way we can approach studying for it?
wait does this mean if we get in we won't have to pay for the school fee? by "getting to" med school in australia do you mean like a scholarship or do we also need to pay for the school fee if we get in
hello sir, excellent video. butdo i take thease tests in grade 12 may next year or right now. like do I apply in 2025 i don't have my ib results yet and when do I begin the course
I am not sure about the HSC but I think if you successfully pass English as a subject, you should be fine. I did QCE general English and worked. If you finished your high school in Australia, shouldn't be a problem. According to UNSW: Senior Secondary qualifications from a recognised English-speaking country will meet our English language requirements if they were: - taught and examined in English. - attempted no more than two years before your intended start date if you are from a non-English speaking background. However, it is best to contact your situation to the univerisity to double check. Hope this helped.
hi buddy, i remember u got into jcu. can u please tell me the procedure once u get conditional offer ,we fulfill the condition offer. done the payment then how long it will take for them to give final offer. thanks
Hi! Thank you for this information, I can’t find many resources for Isat preparation (just the 2 sample papers with 50 qs each) or affordable resources anyway. Do you have any suggestions??
I totally understand, there is not much resources unlike UCAT. I think online tutoring is too expensive. I only paid for GAMSAT section 1 book and I found the resources that the guy is selling from TH-cam video useful. However, I didn’t get the good ISAT result I think it was due to lack of English level, not so much of lack of preparation. If you are confident with your English and if you feel unprepared with 2 50qs, I’ll recommend buying those above. Hope this was helpful. I might make a video about this in future.
Thank you very much this really helped, i got a question what are the main subjects required in Australia unis for undergraduate as a international student
@@thisumidinuradi93 sorry I got late with the reply. That is not an issue. A lot of people around me did it, and they did it well. It is just that it can be overwhelming due to the amount of study they have to do. I'm sure you're capable of doing it!
@@med.rakutohey can i get into MD after i did bachelors in Literature aftet giving GAMSAT also i m not from australia i m from india but i m ready to go to other country to give the exam
I know you said it’s best to take both the UCAT and the ISAT, but technically speaking which one do I need to take if I’m an international student but an Australian citizen by descent? Do I apply as a domestic student? I finished high school overseas so I obviously don’t have ATAR scores and need to prove my English proficiency,,I’m very confused lol
I think it is best to contact the university about this but this is my thoughts: You should be considered as domestic student if you have Australian citizenship. Therefore, applying as domestic student. I think you only need to take UCAT. For academic transcript, best to contact the the university as well. There should be a way of converting the high school results so to compare with other applicants. Hope this helped.
sorry didn't see this comment. A postgraduate degree is a shorter course to study medicine only if you have already done the undergraduate degree. An undergraduate degree is for people who have not done any degree.
How much should i pay for studying medicine in Australia as an international student annually? What qualifications are required to get full fund 100%scholarship for bachelor of medicine ?
Unfortunately, cannot. I lived in kinda rural area for 6 years but I was considered to be just international. It does not have a distinct spot for rural international students like what domestic students are getting. However, this is what you can do. You can use your own expereince of living in the rural area in Australia is something that stands out from other applicants in the interview. The great example of this is JCU which offers the rural focused medicine. Hope this helped
@@med.rakuto that sucks omg. so now i have to try 10x harder to keep my options open. why did you choose JCU? did you take the UCAT? and could you make a video about the personal statement for JCU? thank you
The reason why I chose JCU is that I heard many positive feedbacks about JCU medicine from the current students and the fee is another factor. Also, I lived in Cairns and JCU is closest university from Cairns which allows me to see my family more often. I did take UCAT and ISAT to apply most of the university just in case. Lastly for the personal statement, I am not sure if I could make a video about it due to the policy but I will try make a video that explores why I pursue medicine as well as JCU a little bit. Not the written application detail. Hope this helped :)
it really depends. if you are talking about international undergraduate, 65k-75k times 6 years. but international post-graduate will be 80k times 4 years. The cost changes on which uni you go.
Hello sir, I have a question. That, can I will get admission in md program, after completing my bsc nursing course. As a international student? Please reply me🙏 sir
I am pretty sure you can. I have a friend who has doen nursing and currently in the medical program. As long as you meet the academic criteria I think it is possible.
Very comprehensive. Nice work man
Awesome advice there Rakuto! Hope medical school has been going smoothly for you :D

Have you heard of the 10 year moratorium that restricts foreign graduates from becoming medicare benefit provider? How does that work for you?
