If an actual woman had been there instead, and Roberts said the same thing, she would've taken the insult to mean 'you're not a lady'. The fact that Angela heard that as 'you're not a woman', just proves these people have no more faith in their fake identities than I do.

It's just not worth the trouble if you accidently use the language you have used your whole life and still use in every other circumstance. Because they do not ever consider that you are being asked to change basic rules of language and to ignore what you know to be true. I think one of those ribbons people wear to support a charity or cause would be good. What surprises me is how many people were on "Angelica's" side in this. I made one comment on a Facebook post about this story saying Emma shouldn't have apologized, and these lunatics came out of nowhere and were so nasty. Called me hateful stuff, insulted my mom, one even said I was upset because I've never been touched by a woman. Only if their definition of a woman is "Angelica" 😂 I can take this petty stuff from people who have online guts, but it just surprised me how they go for the jugular just for disagreeing.

I'm sure I've violated the principle, but I'm trying to adhere to the notion that forgiveness is between you, the person you wronged, and maybe a higher power. That higher power wouldn't be a mob online. A bunch of villagers with pitchforks isn't conducive to self examination. It's more inducive to cowering someone into submission as an act of power. If you succeed, you haven't necessarily gain a reformed human being. If the person meant the insult sincerely and apologised just to escape punishment, then congrats, you've made an ally of a coward.

American Horror Story: 1984 takes inspiration from a real-life serial killer named Richard Ramirez, who was also known as "The Night Stalker." Just like each season before it, American Horror Story: 1984 drew inspiration from a real-life story, this one being of the serial killer Richard Ramirez, AKA The Night Stalker. Nothing to do with 1984 book.

I heard about this the other day and was waiting for this video. I've seen AHS and I liked AHS 1984. The season was a homage to 80s slasher films and Emma played the main character of it. If Angelica had such a miserable time why she return for a prominent role in the very next season. There was also no mention of what happened during that season or season 11 which was all about LGB and the aids epidemic that occurred for the gays during the 80s, those 2 seasons Emma was not it at all but brought it up 4 years later on the very night of the premier of the current season where Emma is playing the main character and this season is all about women and childbirth.

Not to mention just the fact of holding onto such a slight slight for year's is weird obsessive behavior too. I think she's just jealous cus Emma's the main character this season 😂

Its nice to see the Emma has the same personality behind the scenes, hopefully stuff like this doesn't take that light-heartedness from her. Its also a matter of how you interpret the joke, I can guarantee it wasn't mean to be taken the way Angelica took it. I work in an industry and often call greet women as ladies and a couple of times they've been with a friend and said something similar to Emma; "oh there's only one lady here!" Either saying their friend isn't a lady as a joke or that they themselves aren't. All it is is a bit of light hearted banter and not to be taken seriously. Amazing how if you're looking for drama and conflict how you can find it in anything and everything.
Also if it did bother you so much I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to meet Emma and talk to her about it or go for coffee or text her or whatever else. Such a strange time we live in where full grown adults do nothing but talk nonsense and share their drama with the entire world rather than actually addressing it with the people who supposedly caused the "problem".

Brett shows a page that accuses Emma Roberts of transphobia (somewhere else I also heard she misgendered a cast member), but now it seems to be about race and a joke - or insult - about Angelica Ross being "unlady" like in her behaviors. I've missed something here, but either way, Ross says in that video that Emma Roberts, at the time, asked if there was something wrong and Angelica says No. There was her perfect opportunity to tell Emma what upset her and talk it out. Emma is quick to apologize all these years later, so seems she would have apologized back then if she knew what this passive-aggressive person was fuming about.
