Can you or anyone in the comments recommend a Civivi that runs of phosphor bronze washers? Though I like the snappiness of bearings, I prefer the easy to maintain and smooth opening of phosphor bronze. Thank you

Love all the knives!! Especially the MASERIN AM4. The FALLKNIVAN Barlow style knife is very nice too. Unfortunately I can’t order these knives online as Canada Customs seizes more knives than they let thru. So I’m always watching in the knife stores on both sides of the border to see if I can find some of the knives that I like. If you have any suggestions as to where I can find the above two knives I would really appreciate it if you could let me know. Keep up the good work.

When I think of whats in my collection, the Fox 525 has to be my Hidden Gem. Such a great knife. Comfortable handle, thin slicey blade, premium materials. I think its lack of a pocket clip gets it overlooked, but its a fantastic (not tiny) gentleman's knife. Mine has the Bocote scales and Damasteel blade. I'm not a fan of liner/frame locks but this one finds itself in my hands about as often as any of my other knives.

Completely agree with the Kizer Justice. The newer versions (just released like two weeks ago) have micarta and an UPGRADED action! They made the micarta ones just as smooth as the Towser K model! I got a blue denim micarta one and I love it. The G10 versions are older and do not have as smooth of an action, wouldn't recommend them as much.

Hi Dave got a question. I have been into knives for a few years now and don't have that many due to a budget income (but very grateful as i dont deserve anything) Anyways I have a few folding knives that are really great. Just picked up the kizer cormorant in micarta and absolutely love it. Such a cool knife I can't stop playing with it. But back to my question. I am wanting to save up for a fixed blade. Something that would be a good knife to strap upside down on the shoulder strap of my backpack. I don't want a giant knife but something that you could definitely use to do some light batoning. I was thinking about the esee izula 2 which is the perfect size or the Bradford Guardian 3. Here's the kicker though. If possible I would love to get something in 3v or 4v or even cruwear without going over 200 bucks. Not sure if that's even possible but if anyone knows it's you Dave! Love your guys channel. God bless you and crew.

I think Steel Will has a couple of gems: The Cutjack and the Intrigue. Both knives have budget and higher end knives. One other is a fantastic Finnish maker, Terävä. If I'm only allowed $100 to get 1 knife I need to be able to survive ALL possible knife challenges, I'm going with the Terävä Skrama, which is short for Scramasax or Seax as it became known. 80CrV steel made so tough and strong it's amazing. The also have a large and small Jääkäripuukko or just 'pukko' knife. Available with a 4.3 or 5.5 in. blade, it easily beats Mora's Garberg hands down.

Really small slipjoints or pen blades are often hidden gems at a very affordable cost :) Fifth pocket friends. Simple steel, easy to strop up, and perfect for small tasks in the office: open boxes, remove them annoying nylon flat "strings", can cut an apple into wedges or a bagel into eatable bits. Especially true for small pen blades with an almost flat edge like a sheepsfoot or wharncliffe style are stellar with that straight point. Yesterday i could not open the stupid molded plastic package around a pair of scissors, since i did not have a pair of scissors.. Enter the tiny slip. :) Hidden gems for almost no money at all, and it could be stored in a nostril almost ;)

I’ve never seen a knife with a ghost club before. Does anybody out there know of any cheaper knives that have a ghost club? The 200 bucks is a little bit above what I would want to spend but that knife is really cool. It’s just a little bit big for what I prefer to carry every day too.

Really appreciate the review of the Kellam fixed blade. Will be looking into that one. Also a little pointer. When you hold many of your knives up in front of your dark colored shirt, you cannot see the details of the knife at all. I also like to know where the knife is from. I buy NOTHING from China.

I tell a lie, the Vipera’s blade is only 5cm and I need something as close to 6cm as possible. It’s very difficult to search for this blade size as it sits between 2 and 3 inches. 2.36 inches to be exact, so 2.3 inches would be ideal. Kershaw shuffle is apparently 6.1cm!
