Ancient history, but from 10 years ago you answered a question. Thank you, as always.

I realize this is an older video & I am so glad to know that MayMay, at one time, used computer generated sentiments---My crafty budget is very low so my computer has been a great help

I started making cards on my computer many years ago and expanded to using dies relatively recently. Most of my images and all sentments are digital. I have a supply of various sized Avery mailing labels that I use so I only need to print what I need. Since I don't mass I produce cards it works best for me.

Very nice technique, and a lovely card. I have done this too, but I still love to have a stamp so that I can color emboss my sentiments. But in a pinch, this is a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

Hi MayMay, I just came across this video and was happy to see you using print outs for card making. I use a lot of computer printed art on my cards as I don't have many stamps and like the freedom of customization. Anyway, I was wondering if you considered selling sets of digital downloads of your favorite sentiments/images for those of us who don't stamp as much. Thanks MayMay, I always love your videos, I think your tutorials are the best on TH-cam! ❤️

Hi we don't use a tape runner anymore, you can do a Google search for Scotch Tape Runners, thanks

I do this because I can be VERY specific and can spend money on dies or other stuff rather than overpriced stamps. :) Dee

DeeLightful Co I do this for things like Mothers Day..I mean, I don’t want to send my mom a card with the same stamp every year, but I als don’t want to buy a,new stamp every year!

I know this is an old video, but did you print those sentiments on cardstock or just regular printing paper? Also, do you have any tips on cutting out sentiments? I like the idea of making it with ribbon ends, but what if you want it like a stamp onto the card? I am thinking of fussy cutting the sentiments (that is a pain too with those fancy fonts), but sometimes, we have color/pattern backgrounds and leaving a white surrounding sentiments could be cute on some card, but not necessarily on others. I can't never cut in a uniformed shape, so that makes the white more noticeable on a colored backdrop. I am still trying to find a way to do this that make it look like I stamp on a card or print it straight onto the card.

sweetpuppy120489 I used card stock on this one, I would suggest printing your sentiments on designer paper or colored paper, then if you don't want a white background you would have something that coordinated with your card. You could also print the sentiment, then trace a shape around them and cut them out. That way you wouldn't really be free handing the cut. Hope that helps!

I was thinking you might use a cutting die too, just simple shapes like circle, square, oval dies to cut them out.

This also gave me an idea to print them with a laser printer and foil them with the Minc! Thanks MayMay! 😍
