Hi Abbie, I just recently finished reading/listening to The Other World. I have both the e-book and the audiobook. The characters were incredibly immersive, and the storyline was fantastic. I was cheering for Orca and Adam from the start, even though they are just fictional characters, they felt so real, and multifaceted.

Abbie, you cannot imagine, how much you've helped me! You made me realize, who important internal conflict, story arcs, story truths, etc. are. Without you I would be so lost. The first video I saw from you was "don't start your book like this" and "10 words to cut from your novel". Since then I binged so many of your videos. Way to go, Abbie! "The Otherworld" is amazing. Your advice regarding re-writing as a super power is spot on, too. One can't escape the writerly habits that accrue by devoting so much headspace and energy to one genre, year after year. Breaking those chains is a hard slog, and there aren't any shortcuts.
