I'm shocked... this instrument is SOOO incredible, I really love it! AMAZING!
Prachtig, mij gaat het om de klank, wat je ermee kunt en dat is weer wat meer als normaal. De echo optie is ook leuk. Je hebt ook een m ooie toon. Maar de opname doet wat cathedralachtig aan met die nagalm , mooi Fijn om zoiets te hebben. Als je een keer komt , zou ik je willen vragen om hem mee te nemen.In mijn hoofdstuk 49.17 track 3 komen ook veel glissandi voor.Dank Marco.
This just goes to show you that when two trumpets that mate when they are family members turns out a trumpet with a genetic defect. lolol

@@mRblu3B3rRymAn It's custom made. Meaning, you can't just go out and buy one. You'd have to make it yourself, or find a custom brass instrument fabricator to make one for you.
The overall idea wasn't that original. Don Ellis had developed and played a quarter-tone trumpet in '65, and Bobby Shew already played his Shewhorn, which consists of two bells, in '65. The instrument is still fantastic, of course.
I don't think he was trying to be original, he just wanted an instrument that he could play and commission new works for, some of which are truly amazing.
