    I love your point about adding sentimental items to your home. I’m the same- I’ve never put up any family pictures, etc. Now that I own a home, I’m looking forward to making it less of a temporary space & more of a true personal reflection of my life. It’s a completely different feeling when being settled & wanting to buy nice furniture knowing that it will be of service to you for a long time to come 😊 Lately I’ve been trying to optimize function of different areas in the home, while also trying to make it look nice 😝 Thank you for sharing your home with us! It’s beautiful! 💖💖💖

    I love how intentional you’ve been with decorating and love how grounded and relaxed your spaces feel and how they flow together. You’ve made it feel so warm but minimalistic, I’m in love!! Also where did you get your necklace and what does it mean?!

      Best than the ugly sheets I put over my couch for my dogs. It’s called real life vs. fake Pinterest aesthetics.

    NGL I could live in your house without really changing anything except adding some of my pieces to add to my own personality and interests in it :) So aestethic, minimalistic in a way and clean looking :) adopt me ;p hihihih

    > a really nice big house
    > a husband that you love, and look handsome
    > wfh youtube content creator
    > lives in the US
    > doesnt struggle with finance
    > look quite good yourself

      She’s a content creator, so I guess as authentic as she seems to be, she does need to showcase a certain aesthetic, vibe and a certain lifestyle in an edited way, which may or may not reflect her regular day. What I am trying to say is this is edited to look beautiful and charmed, which is nice, but there’s no need for comparison (to real life). ❤

    Weird question but how do you nicely ask people to take their shoes off without offending them?
    I really like the no-shoe idea as the bottom of shoes are soooo dirty but idk how to not make it awkward… 🙈😅

    • @julesacree
      @julesacree  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      hehe good question! I say something along the lines of “welcomeee! you can leave your shoes here and there’s slippers if you want!” the key is to tell them as soon as you can bc it’s more awkward once they are already in the house and you’re trying to chase them down and find your opportunity to ask them lol

      Even better, let them know in advance if possible so they can dress accordingly. We are fortunate to live in Vermont where the default for most homes is shoes off.
