Love me some Checkers (Rallys in your area)! Their fries are absolutely delicious. As are the burgers, chicken, and everything else. If I had to pick only one fast food place to eat every again it'd be Checkers. Thanks Penny and Dad for another great review. Also wanted to say love Dad's Cleveland Browns shirt protector. My Dad was a Browns fan way back in the day.

I've never been to a Rally's or a Checker's. I have a couple of Checker's near me in Washington. Fun fact: Idaho was recognized as the 43rd state today 134 years ago! But Idaho became a territory in 1863.
Hi Penny & Dad- No Rally’s/Checkers anywhere around here. In today’s economy, you can’t beat a good $5 deal! The food looked pretty decent.

This food from Rally's/Checker's does look good. Especially the burgers and fries. The burger looks good with all of the fresh veggies. This is a good value for $5. Glad you both liked this Rally's $5 Meal Deal with perfect 10's. As George put it, "A home run". ⚾ I will have to give it a try.

Wow I was surprised by the excellent food at Rally's! They are sort of at the bottom of my list. But it looked like they were most generous with the quantity in the $5 'competition'. Everything looked good, fresh.. way better than you would expect from Rally's. So glad you and your Day had such a good experience today!

Hello Penny and Mr. George! Nice deal that you found today! I didn't know that Rally's (Checkers in my area) had a $5 deal. I'm definitely getting this one soon, and whether or not I have a choice, I'm getting the same burger. Like a Whopper, sometimes I just don't need cheese on a burger. Like you, I'm not much of a fries person, but theirs are always on point. Their chili cheese fries, too. Have a happy 4th of July tomorrow!

This makes me happy. I love how all the fast food places are offering these deals in these times. I can’t explain why but I want Checkers/Rallys , Wendy’s, and Arby’s to succeed but I don’t care about McDonalds and Burger King. Of course Culver’s is in another class and number one for me cost aside.

Didn't know Rally's had nuggets er, bites. I usually got the Big Buford and fries. Haven't been lately, but I bet that meal alone is >5 now.

Love y'all's reviews! On the topic of aging, I've been on a lifestyle change since last year. Been doing a mixture of Keto/low carb and carnivore and I take electrolytes (Lmnt) and have been taking Zeolite detox every morning for the past week. It has done wonders for my mental and physical health. I also take Organic Oil of Oregano when I start feeling under the weather. I was starting to have cold and flu symptoms a couple of weeks ago and I took 3 drops of the Oil of oregano in water and within 5 mins the symptoms were gone, the night before last my nose was getting stuffy took some more oil of oregano within seconds my nose cleared up. Not a medical professional or giving medical advice but just wanted to give everyone suggestions to feel better, love you all and God bless.

Really neat that you found another $5 Meal Deal to compare to the others! I used my app today at McDonald's and got a large fry and a Big Mac for $4.79...I was happy with that deal :) Tell your dad I have been known to drink some sauces too lololol Penny, I eat less the older I get also get tired after a meal and full a lot faster.

Hello George and Penny 😺😊. Those burgers kinda looked sad today, but at least you get more nuggets than the other places. If you have Albertsons in your area they have chicken nuggets brand called Pilgrims and they are really good. Different flavors such as regular, buttery, and ranch flavor. I like them better than the name brand. Just fyi for your home meals. They also have seasoned fries and tater tots. Have a good evening and God Bless 🙏.

I haven't gotten a hot burger from a Checkers in decades (barely warm is usually it's condition), hence I haven't been to one in many years...however, I've always loved their fries, so they are the ONLY frozen fries I get at the grocery store... and they are very good at home from the air fryer.
