I watched Dark Shadows with my nieces when we were kids and we were so scared we had to sleep together, but I still like to see Dark Shadows after all these years, we're are grownups now and we talk about the memories of the show, I still like the show

When I was a kid of about 7, when DS was on in the afternoons every day after school, I remember the episode where David and Amy found the skeleton of Quentin Collins in the secret room off the playroom. That scene seriously warped me for years after that. The head of Judah Zachary was seriously disturbing, as well.
they never really explained it but the ghost of gerard was actually judah zachary! there was lots of story lines they coulda explored had the show gone on!
Man! O man! I can't remember any of these episodes but I do remember being an elementary school student running home so as NOT to miss a minute of Dark Shadows. Don't recall having any nightmares but watching these scenes today of graveyards visits at night is giving I-am-sleeping-with-lights-on-tonight vibes. I like visiting cemeteries BUT only during daylight. Wow!😳
you need David alone in the shop, locked in and surrounded by animals on the walls! AND Maggie menaced by Quentin while the possessed children play hide and seek...with her. Truly wonderful show.
the spooky figure in the hallway in an early episode that was never explained who it was! AND Barnabas at the doors of Maggie's room looking at Vicki and Maggie.
One of the voices calling to Matthew (Thayer David) sounds like the voice of Diana Millay ( she had just joined the show as Laura Collins for the first time.)
The scariest moment for me was when Jeremiah's hand came up from the ground. I had a nightmare about it that night and my mother wouldn't let me watch it for weeks after.
Matthew, Victoria and the ghost of Josette coming to recuse as well as the old sailor Rodger had killed along with more of the Collins victims or family ghost??? LOL
