This is so amazing Wence, keep doing it Engineer. Kindly, show us how to enrich out attribute, e.g if I want to have the type of tree, the height, the age and the classification.
Thanks for this - I'd be glad to see how one adds attributes to the features that you have digitized and symbolize based on these. I guess that's coming in a future lesson?
How would you suggest completing the following curve in ArcPro? THENCE SOUTH 03°33'15" EAST 94.04 FEET TO A POINT ON A CURVE TO THE LEFT, THE RADIUS POINT BEING AN IRRIGATION PIVOT WHICH BEARS NORTH 86°26'45" EAST 1318.52 FEET: THENCE EASTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE 4017.93 FEET:
Thank you for your efforts in making this video but how can we provide names for the trees ? i have made a feature class similar to the trees and i added a name to it while creating the feature class but when i make the digitizing process while i am trying to put a name i am not able to see the word name, why ?
Thanks... By adding name do you mean the whole feature or labelling part of the attribute table? You can reach me via email if it's much easier for you to explain there. My email is: wsimiyu@wencetechnologies.com
@@WencelausSimiyu i will send you an email. I have many questions please and sorry for replying late as i faced many technical problems that forced me to halt my efforts to learn the program. Now i finally managed to download the program once again after overcoming the technical obstacles
Let me include symbology in the next week's video for your benefit but meanwhile I can give you a brief guide There are two major approaches: 1. You can click on the symbol on content pane (See 8:30) and a symbology pane will appear where you can search for a feature e.g. "Tree" and many tree symbols will appear from which you can select one. 2. You can also go to the Appearance Tab and select Symbology. You can then select "Symbolize your layer using one symbol" and proceed. Hope that helps. If you have any challenges still, I'll try to provide practical guidance on the same in Next Week's video so stay tuned.
Here is the video as promised last week where I talk about symbology step by step after covering clipping and buffering: th-cam.com/video/Scd0ylbs234/w-d-xo.html In case you find any more difficulties with symbology in ArcGIS Pro feel free to contact me directly on any of my social media accounts.
very helpful for beginners. thank u so much!
Asante sana, Bwana Simiyu! I was stuck on a project, but this video got me moving again. Great information!
