When spit starts flying, everyone loses it.
Red card is an immediate ejection from the game, and on top of that you can't play the next match (even can't start on the bench). Depending on the foul or penalty, it can sometimes be up to a 10 game ban. Two yellow cards in the same game is also a direct red card, which only results in a one game suspension besides being ejected from the current game.
Also, you can't substitute the red carded player with another on the bench. So basically it's one of the worst things that can happen to your team. If you have a player sent off, you have to finish the entire game with one less player (which usually makes it impossible to get a good result from the game, depending on the time left and the score at the time of ejection).
And on the one where the player grabbed the red and showed it to red...they lost both players right there. So was then 9 on 11 immediately
@@pfang32 Yep, that was the 4th red card for Trabzonspor in that match, and it happened against my team (Galatasaray) and we couldn't believe what we were seeing😂
it is also worth mentioning if a player accumulates 5 yellow cards during the domestic competition it also results in 1 match ban. 10 yellow cards = 2 match bans. 15 yellow cards = 3 match bans.
And in tournaments or cup matches/leagues, if a player receives a yellow card in two different games or 1 red in one single game, he will be suspended from his team's next fixture.
In short ,watch more live football to properly understand it.
You can even get suspended in World Cup games and it will carry over to the next World Cup qualifiers game, if you didn’t serve your suspension because your team got eliminated.

@@dunsonhousethen two yellows turn into a red (ejection) + a one game suspension for the next game. A direct red (ejection) is two-three game suspension depending on the severity. Special occasions like punches could turn into a lengthy suspensions. Luis Suarez accumulated 29 game suspension (almost an entire season) from biting three players on three different occasions 😅

Red card is an ejection basically. Yellow card is a warning and if you get a 2nd yellow card it's equal to a red card and then you get "ejected". If the violent conduct is extreme enough a player can be issued a straight red card without even getting a yellow and they're " ejected " as well

If you accumulate too many yellow cards like 5 in the first 19 or so games you get banned from one game, 10 yellow cards you get banned 2 games and so on. It gets crazy tho cuz if you get kicked out from a game with a red or 2 yellow cards (equivalent of a red card) in a single game your team has to play with one less player lol. So imagine the disadvantage on that big field 😂 And that’s just what I remember, FIFA in Europe gets crazier tho, there’s some leagues where the clubs even pay fines for such penalties and players can get fine by their clubs as well. So it’s a big deal

Players and managers could even be banned a few games, worse they could get fined and then at the very worst it could be career threatened!
