Jorja Fox was not a fan favorite.. quite the opposite, as someone who watched/loved that show, she was my LEAST favorite character, and from what ive read, most fans agreed with that. at least when it was "new". really love to see Paul Guilfoyle.. Robert Hall, Marg Helgenberger, George Eads... Jorja.. no... can live without her.. my wife at the time didnt like her character either.. so just saying..
George wasn't fired, he quit. So, he wasn't part of the immortality movie or this new series. That being said, if there's a reason for his character to appear and it makes sense, I'm sure george would definitely be up for that. There's been nothing officially announced as far as for these 10 episodes, but if the show is renewed, then you definitely could see george back on the show along with Eric szmanda and marg helgenberger and others. William Peterson came back to csi and he hasn't acted as far as in tv or film in a while, so I think george could definitely appear if he wants to.

Well, with csi, regardless of his attitude or lack thereof, he was in all 15 seasons of the show. Plus, he punched out a writer over a script disagreement, he could've easily been fired, but they gave him every opportunity to stay on the show.
It is always about the money. No surprise there. The amount they were getting is very low when you think of the stars on Friends getting a Million an episode, and CSI NY was just as popular. The main stars should have gotten that much. The producers of the show were getting millions from advertisers for those time slots on popular TV shows. They have to realize it is the charism of the actors and how they all mesh that makes the TV show popular with a good script. The blend of all those actors were dynamic. NY was my favorite of all the CSI shows. I miss the show. Thank goodness for reruns.

I watch Csi for like a gazillion times since I was in college.. I ended up downloading all 16 season just to binged watch it everynow and then. Its the only Tv series that I'll will never give up watching until I get old simply because I learned so much from it and makes me love science.. Catherine is the coolest character and my favorite.. From a pole dancer to head of Csi.. And she brings so much personality to the character.. No wonder she has so much movies and part of many shows.. Nick is like the young brother of the family because his character is sometimes run as a crybaby.. Though hes still the most handsome.. He has the face and the body.. What I like about Sarah is her smart ass nerd, practical and vulnerable character due to her family background.. Another nerd is Greg.. A cool nerd character, immature and with corky personality.. I liked him as a Labrat than a field mice though. Im really aad whwen Warricks character died.. Hes the bad apple becaue of his gambling habbit but still hes a smart CSI compared to Nick.. Well ofcourse theres Grissom.. Smart, nerd and weird sometimes.. And I like it.. I always love his punch line and the way he delivered some trivia almoat every episode which I think lacks on the new season now and makes it boring for me. I love Jim as well. Hes like the cool and caring father you want to have with lots of funny punch line aswell is .. The way he smile complement to his baby face.. I love also the labrats especially Hodges and Archi plus super Dave and Doc.. They add so much substance and fun to the show.. There are more characters comingin but the original cast is the best.. Im not a big fan of the new Csi reboot just coz I cant appeal to the characters its fast paced and the way they show the lab process is more techy unlike before where they do actual experiments.. And the props are unreal and well curated to look like a tv show.. And people are not that interesting.. So far other than Sarah and Grissom, the only character I find interesting is the asian dude. 😂
When the show reboots if they just mostly pick up where they left off hopefully they have a decent explanation why all these characters would be just spinning their wheels professionally - with 20+ years of experience under their belts, why would they have not advanced at all in their careers.
No!Im pretty sure they retired and had other jobs!when they return, its because somebody tampered with their evidence and must have used newer methods to do it, I would love to see some of these characters look like a novice for a crime scene and take control on another just showing off their skills, by simply just walk through a crime scene and point evidence sout!

I just watched the first episode and even though I knew Gil was going to be on there when i seen him at the end of the ep I squealed and screamed like a little girl.... So i guess you could say he is my favorite.
Never liked Sarah, would trade her in a heartbeat to get Catherine (Marge Helgenberger) back on the new show. With Catherines father being tied to the mob and Catherine growing up in that world with those contacts and then being an ex stripper/exotic dancer turned CSI she brought so much more to the show in the form of plot and story line interest and conflicts. Actually I thought Grissoms character lost some of what made him so interesting when the show had him hook up with Sarah and that was one of the points the show first started going down hill. I liked Nick (Eads) but in my opinion the original show screwed up when they killed off Warrick as again another character with his gambling and questionable personal life that kept the shows plot interesting as he waded through the doing/not doing the right thing. A shows longevity comes from the characters and the interest those characters bring into the show.

It’s not so much about the money not being enough. If the show makes a lot of money, they have to go somewhere, and of course the actors and writers are gonna see themselves as more deserving of that money than some executive at CBS who aren’t a part of the shows success.
And who should be paid properly? Execs only? Without the actors, execs would be useless. Look at the CSI Cyber which flopped. Without Eads and Fox, especially without Grisom there at that time the show would slump more than it had. What if david caruso and gary sinise wasn't in CSI? Only actor I liked was William Peterson. His great acting is due to his being a stage actor, which shows, which he went back to after leaving, obviously more fulfilling for him. Disliked Hodges character hugely. Rest of them, nah.
This version of CSI was good, but my favorite was Miami. The way it ended sucked though. Didn't see it coming, and their was only 19 episodes that season instead of the usual 20-something. 😡

Only actor I liked was William Peterson. His great acting is due to his being a stage actor, which shows, which he went back to after leaving, obviously more fulfilling for him.

This version of CSI was good, but my favorite was Miami. The way it ended sucked though. Didn't see it coming, and their was only 19 episodes that season instead of the usual 20-something. 😡
