“It completely looks like the daily bugle” *pan to sign saying the daily planet*
Haha oops
“It takes almost a minute to get to the top”
Magnum: Finally, a worthy opponent.
Phantoms revenge and Steel Curtain both take like 70 seconds.
Blue Hawk: Pathetic
It's a Morgan hyper of course it does
SLCs take like a minute at like a quarter the height lol
5:21 "Phantom tries to yank you more, and I'm a big fan of that sensation." Me too, man 🤭
Just a note that "Ultimate" means "Last" in English, too.
Último*
@@randomspectator2580 He commented that it translated to "Last" in English, rather than "Ultimate." I was pointing out that Ultimate and Last are synonyms in English.
LOL this is what I was about to say as well.
Ryan will be upset that it isn’t a 10.
Listening to this and comparing it to ElToroRyan's review, they sound a lot different. Seems like his rides were running much faster. Still seems like a great ride even like this!
I was surprised you didn't talk about the positive G Forces in this review, you said on the vlog that that was the main draw, it was more positive G focused than negative Gs which is what makes it unique from the other Morgan Hypers.
he did ?
The scariest part of the the ride is the ride getting to the theme park.
0:48 “It completely looks like the daily bugle” I wonder why I reminded you of Spider-Man…😂
As always, an underrated coaster
“You drop at a 60 degree angle”
while somehow making it look like steel vengeance
lagas
2:55 - The reason for that short flat spot on all the 1990s Morgan hypers is surprisingly simple: They were dealing with, using track design methodology dating back to what Ron Toomer was doing in the 1970s, getting a 50 to 60 foot long train full of humanity safely over the top of the main(lift) hill and into the first drop.
This is called cresting, which defines the moment when a coaster train is going both up and down at the same time..! If it is not done correctly, the rear third of the train could start accelerating rapidly while still in a climbing state, risking passengers back there a serious case of neck whiplash - or worse.
Morgan's hyper coasters dealt with this in a conservative fashion, to minimize the rate of acceleration of the rear two or three train cars while the rest of the train was descending and about to gain speed.
Later, the Swiss(Bolliger & Mabillard, INTAMIN) with their lightyears advanced track profile smoothing algorithm, were able to crest their trains in a more aggressive way, while at the same time providing a smooth and steeper first drop all in the same package.
Getting my passport next month..just so I can go to six flags mexico..Can't wait...I'm gonna definitely ride this one
i really enjoyed this ride. i rode it at the end of a busy day in the back row and it was incredibly fast and forceful. rlly intense lateral and vertical g's.
@Coaster Studios "ultimate" also means final, last, or at the end in English as well, so it essentially does translate to ultimate in English. Additionally, they also use the word final.
Taylor, can you make a video ranking all of the Morgan coasters?
Very doable!
Steel Eel seems to be the forgotten Morgan, but I prefer it quite a bit to the other original Morgan's I've ridden (not considering Phantom's Revenge)
just a nitpick: “Superman the ultimate escape” does actually mean “superman the last escape” in English as well because “ultimate” means “final”
A lot of people forget that
5:53 wonder how many times that has happened to enthusiasts for the past two years lol
“Ultimo” can also interchangeably mean “ultimate” in Spanish.
Wtf?
No it doesn’t mean ultimate
Since im small the lap bars never staple me so i have room to move around and ges some pretty cool ejector, also if you ride it at night at the back row it makes 1000 times better
Which element on this ride causes greyouts?
Would you be able to do remakes of some of your old reviews? I absolutely love the footage in your videos now and would also love to hear how some of your takes have changed..
That’s the plan!
Escapè! I wonder what that means? It’s funny how it’s spelled just like the word ‘escape’
So im very biased when it comes to Phantoms Revenge since its my most ridden coaster, and its at my home park. Ive ridden Phantom 738 times, this looks amazing but i dont see it topping Phantom,
Great review but once again: you’re way too generous with your grading system lol
Remember that the scores are always in comparison to other similar rides or it’s type- so this one would be compared to other hypers
@@CoasterStudios I think this should be quickly and clearly stated in every future review video before giving it the score. 10 seconds of time, but really would help everyone out
Último could mean either ultimate or last.
Top 25 when??
I'm not a native spanish speaker, but ultimo means last OR ultimate. Which is being used in this context, I'm not sure.
There's one bad transition just before the mid-ride brake run.
Would you now be able to rank every Morgan hyper coaster? Including steel dragon 2000
definitely a possibility!
It would be VERY difficult for this to beat Phantom’s Revenge…it’s just too good!!
For me, this was a pleasant coaster, especially for the view, but it had no airtime and it had shallow drops. I’m actually pleased to hear Taylor speak moderately about it, because when I hear the wild praise for this coaster from almost everyone, I am just confused. For me it is far and away the most overrated coaster among US American enthusiasts.
That's the "Hey, look where I've been" effect.
@@alexbaker7722 I don’t want to assume about everyone, especially as I know some very nice and thoughtful people who rave about this coaster, but yes, I’ve often wondered whether enthusiasts unconsciously raise their opinion of coasters they’ve ridden if they’re rare ones to get to.
I understand this mindset, but I don't think thats always the case. It can vary depending on the situation. I like to think I always view it objectively and look past the location of the ride when forming my opinions.
@@CoasterStudios I think we all think we do, though. That said, I know some people who have been on coasters all over the world and yet they think El Ultimo Escape is fantastic, and there’s no way they think that because they perceive it as exotic. And as I said, I know many very reasonable people who love this coaster, and I’m in the small minority in thinking it’s no big deal, so I accept, as always, that coaster rating is a subjective thing, AND coasters have good days and bad days.
@@StamfordBridge that's fair, and I agree there are plenty of people that don't do that. Also I thought Taylor's review was pretty fair. I've not ridden it myself, but it feels like one of those rides where people have hyped it up, and once you've travelled all the way there you are almost over invested to rate it highly.
Did you guys go to the pyramids
We did!
So, is it better than Medusa?
Off topic: Tumbili opened today! you should check it out. Can you please give your opinions?
Video coming soon!
What do you think about Tom Brady unretiring
Hi Friends! Weird question for you. Are either of you fluent in Spanish? I want to visit this park and my fiancé and I are both extremely limited in Spanish, but this park is a bucket list of mine, so I am just curious on if either of you are fluent and were able to communicate with employees and guests. Thanks!
Sarah spoke Spanish, which helped
I wish Stand Up Coasters would come back into popularity!
B&M has allegedly filed patents for new stand-up trains, so you may get your wish.

Austin Powers: Yeah, Baby, Yeah!
Daily Planet not Daily Bugle
I know, my mistake
Superman is better than Medusa?
Bruh why does nobody mention steel eel 😐
Daily Planet ***
As a Spanish speaker, your pronunciation of the name made me facepalm. Does this negate anything the video said? No. Just maybe next time run a foreign the name past a native speaker to spare us the pain 😅
Daily Bugle lol
