They didn't got to Madrid, g2 didnt either, but Lev finished behind G2 for split 1 playoffs. They made Shanghai and won 1 game. They come back and had a great split 2 but compared to what G2 has done I'd say they're more of and S tier team than Lev because they've been consistently better.
Also, Fnatic S for 2024 season when they didn't qual for Madrid and bombed out of Shanghai would put them at A, considering the expectations for last year 2 title winners, and unlike EG they kept the core

So I did my pickems without really thinking and then looked back and realized that I looked absolutely insane because I had all 4 chinese teams making it through Thought process behind those picks: BLG won't beat Fnatic but definitely have a chance to beat a shaky KRU and DRX FPX won't beat GENG but with how TH and SEN are playing lately they have a chance to make it TE won't beat LEV but I have FULL FAITH they will beat TLN and I have a feeling Vitality will choke in the lower decider of the group And I have EDG losing in their first game against FUT and PRX losing to G2, then have EDG winning against PRX and winning a rematch against FUT who would've just lost to G2 in the upper part of the group Like, I can see this possibly happening, but if I truly think this is gonna happen I'm fucking insane

Paper Rex, who went on to win the split, and Gen G, who lost to Paper Rex in regional finals and literally won Shanghai. After that they dropped stax and put in flashback for stage 2, which obviously takes some time to work out considering the IGL switch and the player swap. And now they've found their form. It's kinda weird to label DRX as inconsistent if you take into account all of that context. I think you're coping too much for the chinese teams here, as much as I'd like for VCT CN to do well at Champs.
And TE is already the up and coming good team in the Chinese league followed by tyloo but for TE im looking forward to how they do in the international championship.
I do think SEN should be higher personally, only slightly. They were playing very clean valorant until the past 2 games, which i don't think is enough to push them back that far.

Like, I thought the whole point of doing well in regular season is to one, put yourself in a better position to qualify for champs by attending these masters, and two, to win a masters trophy… and again, we’re talking about overall season, and imo, a masters win is gonna be the heaviest weighted thing when we haven’t had a champs winner yet, and as far as I could tell, G2 and FNC doesn’t have a masters trophy like GENG and SEN does.

First of all he doesnt clarify if the list is based on expectation based on last year or performance throughout the year. And throughout the list he was ranking teams based on different criterias. If it was based on performance how the fuck is DFM in D tier they litterally won 1 match and bleed is in F? Bleed litterally beat those guys. If its based on expectations how are teams like Karmine corp so low? Need i remind you of last years tragedy? They litterally had a 180 turn of their seqosn and their B tier?
