  • Sometimes you just need to get out of town, so I took off on a 300 mile XRL solo adventure. I started from Milton-Freewater up Lincoln Mountain Rd, then through Tollgate, past Jubilee Lake and the Elk Flats Trailhead. Join me on part 1 of my Blue Mountain Adventure.

Fun to see you enjoying my backyard. I ride those trails regularly and know those views. Thanks for the video

Nice video, Looks like a lot of fun and a great place to get away. Please, please, please wear some gloves while riding,. just a tiny fall on that pavement or gravel will take months to heal those hands. Been there and done that,,,,,, no fun at all. Prosper, live well and take care,, 😊

I live in the TC too but you seem to know all the good riding areas better than I do. If it’s not too much trouble, directions or links to maps or something would be awesome. Appreciate the content!

Lots of little spots around. I just randomly explore to find the local stuff. Let's do some dual sport riding!

What Topo maps are those? Can't wait to do the same, I say it every weekend, never do it though.🤣

It's the Garmin Explore app default called TopoActive. I use it with my inReach device. Works pretty well!

Kind of surprised the wind would push that thing down to lower speeds on the road. I've ridden one. Tons of torque. The CRF250L I ride gets pushed down to lower speeds in a headwind. What kinds of mpg's are you getting?

It's not a power problem. I can hit 70 mph uphill without too much of a fuss. The problem is cooling. I already rebuilt it once (my fault, 3 years ago) so I baby the machine on longer hauls or when driving into the wind. 👍

@@impactmotochannel Thanks for making sense of that. I was going to look into the oil cooler and mods for bigger cooling fins. You have an aftermarket dash that gives you the block temperature?
