Love the father and son time y'all have together. Always said the outdoors was the best school room for kids.
I've been watching catch and cook fishing shows for 2 weeks . I have no kids, your son really enjoyed time with you. 😊 Thanks
My mouth is watering!!!
Making memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks for sharing this adventure. God bless y’all. - Tennessee Smoky

Brody is priceless in this one. .
Ameal fit for a king, everything taste better cooked outdoors!!
Everything is just better on the creek bank
I just love how Brody loves his fish ,get well soon Brody
He sure dont wanna throw none back lol
Brody is undergoing the process of, "Learning by doing"! Will he learn the procedure before Dad's patience runs out?! Check back in about 15 years to find out! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! (The Joys Of Parenting just NEVER stop!) Dad used to haul along his "Dry Box" on every camping trip I remember! It sure came in handy & I hope yours will too! Those Coleman Stoves are practically indestructible and will serve you well for a long, Long, LONG time!
We gone burn a lotta fish on that thing lol
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors A roll of Paper Towels and a box of Moist Towelets in the Dry Box would serve multiple purposes as well! Enjoy every morsel off that stove!!
just needed an onion . good looking fish fry . spent many a day doing this , enjoyed the video .
Yea I forgot an onion and i added a pot with a basket in that box
The wire hooks on the wind deflectors slip in the slots on the side just below where you have them
I gotta dig it out and look but your probably right. I never had one before we used the fire or little single burner jobs
I so miss all those sounds. Great times.
It is music to me
Buddies for life ❤ God Bless You both 🥰
He has took a liking to that fishing
Hope sweet Brody gets well soon . God bless his little heart .😊👩🏻🦳😋 Now that’s is one good meal for little guy that’s not feeling his best . Dads a good cook . 😋

Still Living the dream! ... hope you feel better soon Brody!
That we are my friend. He is getting over it but still a little cough this morning
I love this video. Wish I could live as y'all do.
We are blessed my friend.
Some mullein and pineapple weed tea is the remedy tea I use for a rattle in the chest. Im in Seattle, WA. You both are heartwarming. Good wholesome viewing. Thanks much.
We gotta get him some made up
Was gonna mention Mullein. Basically has 0 taste so shouldn't be hard to mix in something else
@@ETHANR26 yea i need to do that because he wont even try anything like this. I could put ice in it
I LOVE the catch n cook idea!!!! Please keep it!!! Could you imagine doing fish n chanterelles out there?!
We gonna make that happen
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors maybe a straight up wild edibles meal with catch n cook style meat!
Oh that’s some good times right there. Enjoy them while you can. You’ll blink your eye and he’ll be grown up and gone.
Fish baptised in crisco, thats a wonderful thing.
It shore is
I like that prayer
My parents used to have a Coleman stove like that, except it used that old white gasoline. It had a pressure tank you had to pump up.
You missed the opportunity to educate him about fish head soup!! 😆 Great video!
I may need you to educate me on it. Ive never tried it.
Praying for Brody to get well 🙏
He is some better . We gotta get that cough whipped
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors We really enjoy your videos ☺️👍🙏
My granddaddy and I would go to the creek crappie fishing. And he would always cook bacon and then throw potatoes in the grease. And then make sandwiches. Cook Brody some.
nothing like fresh caught fish cooked in the outdoors
Awesome video brother. Next time turn that frying pan handle away from u so u don't bump the pan . God bless
I had took a quick look earlier at work, thought your stove was the liquid gas type. I have one of both types and I have a conversion adapter to use propane on gas model too. Both are great things to have . Hope Mr Brody gets better real fast .Yalls way is a good way . Listen to them frog legs
Awesome!!
Thank you
Catch and release in the grease!
Lake wesson oil
Ive got a few of those fishknives. The best high grade carbon steel. Sharpen to a razor. Imperial ireland and jowika from germany. 👍
This is a queen . Its a cheaper version but seems to be well made and good steel
2/3 years old n learning to cook?! Bro, you raising ya self an awesome little buddy ain’t ya!
He gonna be a man one day and a good one if i have anything to do with it
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors I have no doubts that you’ll do everything in your power to raise a fine young man!
Bro Justin, you and Brody are so entertaining! 😁 Y’all are very inspiring too.
One time many years ago, two of my friends and I caught about 60 blue gill aka perch, in about 30 minutes in 104 degree heat. They accused me of trying to get out of cleaning’um, because I passed out from heat exhaustion! 🥵 But, when the weather cooled down in the evening and I got to feelin better, I ate my share of pan fried blue gill! 😋Thank you for reminding me of how much fun it is to catch and cook. BTW, what were all those critters making that racket?
🐟🐟🐟
It is better cooked on the creek. Most of the racket is tree frogs out in the shrubs in the water but some of the deep sounds were bullfrogs
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors
We cooked those blue gill in a camper by the lake. ☺️
Those frogs are loud!
Loved that video, cowboy kent is shakin in his boots, been thinking about buying one of those fishermans knives, maybe tell us what ya think of it, especially the scaler blade if it works well, and i don't know how you cooked all that without paper towels, i can't make a bowl of cereal without using a half roll, thanks for the entertainment
You use your britches legs 😂
And i love my $17 queen fishing knife. I can’t believe i left it but I ordered it from smoky mountain knife works. Ill get it in a video soon
I’ve found that having flour sack type kitchen towels or bandanas in my dry box is much more versatile than paper towels. Multi-use, wash n go, no ‘lint’ getting on food, so you can use to absorb grease, you can rinse them out in your water source easily…just a few reasons I don’t keep paper towels in my dry box. 😊
Food cooked like that always tastes the best. That's a neat setup you put together. I've got one of those Coleman stoves that runs on white gas that I have had for almost 30 years. I sure hope Brody gets better soon.
We gone do a lot of cooking on this thing
Get better soon, Brody! I like that grinnel sticker on your cooler. Where'd you run across that thing? That's sexy as boots on a rooster!
Amazon. I was gonna have some made but i fount this one
I linked it in the description
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors Thank you kindly!
Justin, you ever gig any of those frogs?
Yea ive got videos from last spring
Is that a B n M rod?
Its an ugly stick . I have some 10’ B&M rods
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors I just picked up a 4 footer today. It has some nice action for crappie
“Come here, hard head” how in the world did you get a voice clip of my daddy?!
😂
Gotta quit watching this. Y'all are gonna make me hungry. 😊
I've been making wild lettuce for a while now. It's just everywhere.
