Litha is a Neopagan/Wiccan holiday (also known as sabbat) which marks the midway point of the growing season. In the past, agricultural societies only had two seasons: summer and winter. In the northern hemisphere, the solstice of June was the point of halfway through summer, hence “Midsummer”.
June 21st is a standard date to celebrate Litha. The exact date will vary depending on your tradition and whether you choose to celebrate precisely upon the Summer Solstice. The exact date of each solstice changes by a few days each year - for the same reason that we have years with extra days, our calendar isn’t perfect! :earth_africa:
In the Southern Hemisphere, Litha corresponds to the Solstice as well, around December 21st.
What to do for Litha?
Decorate your altar with these symbols: Sun wheel, Fire, Sunflowers, Roses, Daisies, Crosses, Torches, Triangles as symbol of fire, the Tarot card “Sun”, the Sword of the sun god Ra, lemons, seasonal fruits and flowers.

Although the goddess is as always important the holiday focuses on the sun and consequently on the God. The first fruits of summer are ripening. The atmosphere is a languid But expectant. Don't worry so much about if you're doing it right. Just do whatever it is that makes it comfortable for you. You are divinely guided. There is no right or wrong. Let it come naturally
Ideas: think sunshine :) yellow and gold candles, honey, oranges, lemon, cinnamon, sunflowers, daisies, herbs, salad. It's a time when the veil is supposedly thin. You can do protection riturals for your home. Bonfires and fire rituals are traditional; anything to do with the sun or fire. You could draw a wreath or wheel, make an arrangement witth flowers, an outdoor altar, write wishes on bay leaves and burn them, work in a garden, take a walk in a garden, watch the sunrise. One very common activity is to jump over a fire or flame. Ancient festivals revolved around the sowing of crops, fertility and marriage, and well, partying. You could watch the Solstice sunrise livestream from Stonehenge.
